"They were great, weren't they?" Castiel commented as he watched Dean and Carmen dance together beside the Impala.

"Yes, they were," Eva agreed. "We need to go, Sam's waiting."

Then, they were gone, fluttering back to a present time.

"Oh, hey, Cas," Carmen greeted him with a hug. Sam stood up and hugged him as well. "Where's Johnny?" Cas asked quickly, something he always did when he visited.

"I'll go get him," Carmen said, leaving the group for Dean's old bedroom. Johnny was awake, sitting in his cradle.

"Hey, baby boy. Somebody wants to see you," Carmen cooed as she carried him off to the living room. Cas took him over, playing with his favorite little person.

Carmen played with the bracelet around her wrist, wishing Dean could be here to see this.

After Dean died, Sam became like a brother to Carmen, who was cured after Eva preformed the ritual. He insisted she stay with him in the bunker. Every day was different, and some they would just end up crying together.

Eva stuck around too. She hung out in heaven a lot, but she made sure to watch over Carmen Vine. Her and Sam seemed to be something.

What helped all of them the most was the birth of Johnny Maryn Winchester, named after both of Dean's parents. If it wasn't for her baby boy, Carmen wouldn't have made it.

Carmen was going to raise him knowing about what goes bump in the night, but she was also going to push him to go to school, to become something great. But for now, she would bask in her family.

Later, Eva would visit someone special, up in heaven. She kept him updated so that he wouldn't tear down heaven to see for himself.

"My little man," Dean would grin when Eva would show him what was happening down on earth. He would coo just as much as Carmen, and at night, when she would pray to him, Dean would coo her as well.

"I miss them," he always said.

"I know, Dean. But it's better you act as guardian for now. They'll be up here, one day," Eva consoled him.

"I can't wait," he chimed, that smirk shining.
