[RIP] Pixilated: What Happens Behind the Screen

Prologue

Paul's Point of View

"That will be $89.99. The cashier said. Eva handed him the money. In return, Eva got the multi-pack of games.

The four; Eva, Paul, Steven, and Ash, exited the building.

"I can't believe we got all five of these games for only ninety dollars!" Paul exclaimed.

Paul had black hair combed to one side, and brown eyes. He wore a long sleeved black flannel button down shirt, and black jeans. His tennis shoes were also black. He was a average height and weight.

"I know right!" Steven replied. "Pokemon Yellow, Super Smash Bros Brawl, New Super Mario Bros, Alfheim Online, and Minecraft!"

Steven had blond hair and blue eyes. He wore a long sleeve red shirt, jeans, and Converses. He was tall snd skinny for his age.

"Yeah. Lucky we got this multi-pack. If we hadn't, the five games would've cost a hundred and fifty dollars!" Ash pointed out.

Ash had slightly long, brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a gray hoodie, jeans, and black tennis shoes. He was average height and weight, but a little shorter than Paul.

"Well, let's go back to my house and play them, instead of just standing around," Eva said.

Eva had black hair in a bun on her head, and sea foam green eyes. Her jean jacket was unbuttoned, showing her black undershirt. She had white jeans and black boots. She was slightly shorter than Ash.

The four of them had been best friends since they were little kids. Now, they were all fifteen and freshmen in high school.

As they walked back to Eva's house, a man in all black ran by and stole Eva's games and purse.

"Hey!" Eva shouted.

Paul started chasing the man, and the others followed.

The man was fast. Good thing Paul was on the cross country team at school.

Paul dodged people and road signs as he chased the man. They weaved in and out between buildings and roads.

Paul could hear his friends behind him. Good, they were keeping up.

The man turned down a dark alley. Then, he ran into a building through a suspicious looking side door.

Paul went in too, and the three others followed. There was a click.

Ash turned around and tried to open the door, but it was locked. Then they heard a voice.

"I have gathered you four here so I could run an experiment on you."

"What kind of experiment?" Steven asked, confused.

"An experiment that goes like this." The four felt a shock going through them.

It lasted about half a minute. When it stopped, they passed out.

Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed the prologue of "Pixelated"! For author's notes, the three of us will type in different ways. I, Todd (Radishologist) will have underlined author's notes.
