The rest of lunch was... Strange. Harry kept an arm around the back of my chair through out the entire meal but hardly spoke to me, which was fine by me. There isn't much to say about the mistake I made in the bathroom.
I hate the way my skin still tingles where he touched me just a little over an hour ago and I wish it would stop. I feel dirty and as I sit next to Harry in his small car, I for once don't feel scared, only... Desire. My hands yearn to touch his skin in the places his clothes denied me earlier. I want to taste the mint in his breath and explore his toned body with my tongue.
What the actual Fuck. Snap out of it Aurora.
I shake the dirty thoughts from my mind and focus on the road ahead of us. I can't have these thoughts about him and I defiantly can't let what happened happen again.
Although the way he possessed me, thoughts, body, and soul was the sexiest thing I have experienced. He commanded me with his tongue as his body moved with mine. If only I could've gotten to taste more of his skin...
Shit. I've got to stop.
I can't help but glance over at Harry who seems calm and completely focused as he weaves through the Seattle traffic.
"What do you think of my competitors, Aurora?" His melodic voice breaks the silence, ringing in the small space of his car. It's the first thing he's really said to me since our little rendezvous and I couldn't be happier.
It was starting to get a little awkward... Especially because I'm sitting here practically eye raping him.
"I hardly call them competitors." I scoff. "Half of them seem like they are new to the business while the other half don't have a clue what the hell is going on within the walls of their own companies."
He glances at me and his green eyes meet mine briefly before turning back to the road. "Why do you say that?"
"Because if they did they would see that they are losing money by the trying to expand too quickly. They are hiring too many personnel and investing in businesses that they can't support. Taking on so many businesses with so little funding will make the investment flop which will result in losing a pretty hefty load of money. If they were smart they would try to gradually grow their company rather than try to jump into the fire.
"Acerbus Enterprises is too successful for them to be in competition just yet. Although it isn't an old company, it started out with a few investments which proved profitable, allowing it to grow at a substantial rate. If they were smart, the other companies would try to do the same because at this rate, their companies will go bankrupt in a few years."
During my little rant, I notice a smile slowly spreading across Harry's face and for once I'm not frightened or offended by it. It's a proud smile and by his expression, he is impressed by my observation.
"All of that from lunch, I knew you were more than just a pretty face." It sounds more like a compliment than an insult, making a smile spread across my own lips.
Unsure of what to say, I take this moment to admire just how beautiful he is. His eyes have a slight shine to them that make them pop. The softness there reflected in his words, making the comment all the more genuine. His soft looking pink lips pulled up, creating a dimple I never noticed in his cheek. Tousled brown curls pushed back in a lazy way due to our... "bathroom meeting".
