I looked at Sawyer, his cheeks were puffy and his eyes were red. I wanted to hold him in my arms and let him know that everything is ok, but I would only be lying to him and myself

Tears started going down his eyes. I've never seen a grown man cry until now. "I'm so happy, I thought I would never see you again," I said nothing

I stared at him, Sawyer walked over and gave me a hug. I flinched at his touch, tears threatened to spill. Sawyer quickly let go

"I missed you so much Sawyer," I said in a raspy voice

"I'm so sorry this happened to you baby," he said. "I'm fine Sawyer," I lied

"No, you're not Alianna, its ok to cry," Sawyer said.

"I'm fine Sawyer," I said, getting annoyed. A few tears started coming down, Sawyer pulled me towards his chest as I began to cry

"Shh, it's over. You're safe now," he said as I sobbed into his chest. "He.... He," I couldn't finish the sentence

"I know baby girl," I looked at him, a few tears strolled down his cheeks

"I blame myself you know, if I never met him, then you would never would be in this position," Sawyer said wiping his tears away

I shook my head in disagreement "This is not your fault Sawyer, I don't blame you or anyone, but Adam and myself," I sniffled

"Don't try to make me feel better Alianna," Sawyer scoffed. I looked him straight in the eye

"I'm not trying to make you feel better, I'm stating the truth," I said sternly, wiping the rest of the tears from his eyes

"I heard everything you said," I said, Sawyer smiled a little "I wish I could have told you before," he said

"It's fine," I said. Sawyer cupped my face in his hands "I love you so much and I promise that no one is going to hurt again,"

Sawyer hesitated before placing his lips on mine, I was unsure at first then kissed back. We pulled away as a nurse entered the room

"Um, visiting hours are over and I need to give Ms. Path her medication," he said with a little needle in his hand

I felt the nurse's hand on my shoulder "GET OFF OF ME, HELP" I screamed, I twisted and turned.

"DON'T TOUCH ME," I tried to push him away.

Sawyer held me down as I continued to struggle, scream, and shouted for help

"Alianna, its ok. He won't hurt you," Sawyer said soothingly

My body grew heavy as the nurse placed the needle in the I.V bag and inserted the contents inside

I stopped struggling and tried very hard not to close my eyes
"I don't wanna go back to sleep," I mumbled as Sawyer let go of my arms

I shook my head, trying to tell my body not to shut down and sleep.

"I'll be here when you wake up, don't worry," Sawyer said, I couldn't hear him clearly

"I love you Sawyer," I said before I closed my eyes

"Love you too," I heard him say before my body completely shut down

It's not as heart warming as I want it to be, but I think I did alright
