*A week later*

Sawyer sat next to me on the couch at his place. His arm wrapped around my shoulder tightly and protectively.

"Alianna?," he asked

I looked at him "Yea"

Sawyer grabbed my hand and set it on his lap "Well, we have been dating for a while and I think it's time I meet your family,"

I shook my head "They don't know that I was... you know and I just...." I protested

"Alianna, everything will be fine. I'll be there with you" Sawyer said

"Why did this come up anyway," I asked

"Because I got us two round trips to Vegas and I'm not going without you," Sawyer pulled out two plane tickets from his pocket

I gave him a hug, "You really didn't have to do this," I said

"I have no problem with it,"

Sawyer gave me a kiss on the forehead, on the cheek, then on the lips. I didn't kiss back

I felt his hand on my thigh, I moved his hand and pushed him away a little

"I'm sorry, Sawyer, I-I'm just not ready yet," I apologize

Sawyer didn't say anything, he removed his hands from my shoulders

"Don't be like that Sawyer, please" I begged

"Be like what," Sawyer said annoyed

"Just give me time Sawyer," I said
I took his hand and wrapped it in mine. Sawyer snatched it away, I felt like crying, but I concealed myself.

"I think I should go, I'll see you later," I stood up and slipped on my shoes.

I took one last look at him, he was staring at the TV with a pissed off look on his face.

I grabbed my backpack and walked out the front door.
