No Sleep

*Week later*

"Alianna are you ok," Jamilyn asked as I stared out my bedroom window

I removed my gaze from the window and stared at her "Yes, just fine," I said with no emotion

I rubbed my eyes. Since the last nightmare, I haven't slept.

"How long have you been awake," she asked

"Almost seven I think, I lost track after the third day," I said

"How have you been able to stay away this long," Jamilyn

"Does it matter, I don't want to sleep," I turned my head back towards the window

*Later (12:30)*

"ALIANNA YOU NEED TO SLEEP," Kaylee screamed in frustration

"Kaylee, I appreciate the effort, but I'm not sleeping,"

I yawned at Kaylee's anger "DON'T FUCKING YAWN AT ME," I jumped back at the sudden outburst

Jamilyn called Kaylee two hours before to convince me to go to sleep. As you could tell, it is not working.

"Alianna, I'll treat you like a damn two year old," Kaylee threatened

"Go ahead," I said nonchalantly

Kaylee grabbed me by the ear and walked me over to my bed.

"Lay down," I shook my head

"Lay your ass down," Kaylee growled

I did what she said. I pulled the covers over my body, Kaylee tucked me in so tight I couldn't move my arms

"Now you are going to lay there until you fall asleep,"

"I don't have another choice, do I," I said

Kaylee nodded. I stared at the ceiling while Kaylee was on her phone.

"How was your day," I asked

"Go to sleep Alianna," Kaylee said annoyed

I sighed

*light bulb* I thought (If you get this reference, then here is a pig nose 🐽)

I pretend to yawn, I closed my eyes and went to 'sleep'. I heard my bedroom door close, I took a peek and realized it was empty.

"Sucker," I said

I struggled out of the covers, I stood up and went to my dresser to get the eye drops

"Sawyer, she's asleep," I heard Kaylee call out

I quickly ran back towards my bed and hid under the covers. I closed my eyes as I heard the door open

I heard footsteps getting closer to my bed "She's so cute," I heard Sawyer say

I felt lips pressed against my cheek. I opened my eyes, Sawyer jumped back

"How long have you been awake," Sawyer asked

"I never went to sleep, I haven't slept since I had that nightmare,"

"You need to sleep Alianna," I shook my head

"No, I don't want to," I said

"You have too, its not healthy," Sawyer said

"I'm going to tell you something that I told Jamilyn, I'm not sleeping. I don't care what you say," I said

Sawyer sighed in defeat, "Alianna, please for me. Go to sleep,"

I looked at him coldly, "No,"

Sawyer went around to the other side of the bed and sat down. His arm snaked around my waist and pinned me on his chest.

"Sawyer this will not work, stop it," I said as he held me tight

"I'm not letting you go, till you fall asleep," He said

"Then we're going to be here for a while," I said

*Hour later*

Sawyer still had me in his grasp, I tried squirming out, but he only held me tighter.

"Tired yet" Sawyer asked

"No, not at all," I yawned

Sawyer started humming a lullaby and rocking my body back and forth. "This is not working Sawyer," I yawned again
My body relaxed and my ear pressed against his chest, listening to his steady heart beat.

My eyes grew heavy, I shook my head trying to break my trance. Sawyer continued to hum louder

I yawned in defeat and closed my eyes, actually drifting into a deep coma like sleep
