Chapter 12/13

Chapter 12

She looks at them, horrified at what she sees, just wanting to unsee it. Johnny opens his eyes and pulls away from Sara. Sara sees Melanie and stands there, looking as shocked as Melanie and Johnny! Melanie curses, ‘Damn. Well this is awkward.’ Johnny pulls Sara out of the elevator as they are still holding hands. Melanie misses her lift so that they can explain them selves but that isn’t what they have in plan.

Johnny says, ‘We where just…um…’ Sara buts in, ‘We where just practicing a kissing scene.’ She pulls her hand away from his. ‘I was offered a part of an extra and thought why not and because Johnny and I are best friends it didn’t really matter that we had to kiss.’ Melanie is left not knowing wether to believe them or not. ‘Why where you practicing in the lift?’ ‘Because Sara and I didn’t want anyone thinking we where having an affair or anything! If she snuck out into my room imagine what people would think.’ He laughs slightly to make it sound like he thought it was a ridicules idea! Melanie thinks and says, ‘fair enough. Well it’s pretty late, I best be back, goodnight.’

Once she has walked off, back into her room Johnny and Sara burst out laughing. ‘Good excuse,’ Johnny is able to speak. Sara laughs, ‘Yeah, what was she even doing out here anyway?’ ‘Who knows.’ He takes her hand again and leads the way to his bedroom, at the same time as kissing Sara. He pulls away quickly, to open the door. He opens it and looks inside to find someone sitting on his bed. He turns the light on and Johnny/Sara both gasp together!

(This is a really short chapter so I’ll post another :D)

Chapter 13

Sara is made to compromise, ‘Oh hey.’ She smiles at them both and yawns. ‘Ah, well it’s getting late, goodnight.’ Johnny turns so that he is facing Sara and has a look of panic on his face. He smiles and mimes ‘help’ to her. She gives him a good luck smile and walks out, closing the door behind her. Johnny turns back around to face Kennedy!

She smiles, ‘Hey Baby.’ Johnny did not want this day to come but just wanted it to be over at the same time. He smiles back, ‘Hey love. I..um..missed you.’ She gets up and walks towards him, ‘I missed you too.’ She places her arms around his neck and kisses his lips. He plays along for a minute but then pulls back. He wants to tell her with all of his heart but somewhere deep down he still loves the loving, caring part of her.

She looks up at him and sits down on the sofa and Johnny sits next to her. She worries, ‘Are you ok?’ Johnny looks deep into her eyes, trying to figure out if she did love him or not. This wasn’t how she was behaving last week. ‘Yeah I’m alright. I wasn’t expecting you.’ She thinks about how he had been with Sara so late, ‘I know. What was Sara doing here?’ Johnny holds back the panic in his eyes, ‘I..she..she was just saying goodnight. I just bought her some clothes because you know, they got destroyed in the crash.’ She thinks and dismisses any previous thoughts she had, Johnny wouldn’t do that to her.

He wanted to test if she loved him or not but wasn’t ready for the conversation or answer right now. His night had been destroyed. ‘Well sweetheart, it’s been a long day. Want to get some shut eye?’ She smiles and kisses his lips, passionately. Johnny wants to stop her but just doesn’t want the conversation to happen. After a few seconds he pulls away and smiles. They climb into bed and fall asleep in each others arms. Johnny decides that he will test Kennedy’s love tomorrow and plans out the day!

Meanwhile Sara lays in bed, preying that Johnny will have the strength to tell Kennedy. She feels a tear roll down her cheek, so she puts on some headphones and tries to stop thinking about it all. Eventually she drops off to sleep…
