Chapter 22

Johnny's eyes went wide and Sara's too. Kennedy just held her belly as if she was showing or something and looked at her guests. After a minute of shock Johnny said, "Wow. I don't know what to say. Have you been for your first check yet?" "No I'm going next week but I guess you will be at work." "I can stay off. I mean, I want to come!" Kennedy looked up, "NO! You don't have to do that. Go to work and I'll send you the pictures and stuff later, I go on Monday." Johnny squeezes Sara's hand and looks at her. She looks back and squeezes back. They focus back on Kennedy. Johnny stresses, "Are you sure he or she is mine?" Kennedy smiles, "Yes."

After another half an hour Sara and Johnny make their way home. In the car they are both silent in thought. Sara doesn't particularly like the idea but doesn't agree in any way with abortion and neither does Kennedy and Johnny. Johnny isn't very keen on the idea but what happened happened and he is slowly coming round to the idea. He loves kids.

When they got back they went into the kitchen and got a coke each. They sat down at the counter and Johnny broke the silence, "What are you thinking?" Sara looked at her coke and answered, "Donno, you?" Johnny looked at her, "Obviously it's annoying it's not you but I don't really mind the idea too much." Sara thought and said, "Yeah. I guess the only bad thing is we will be linked to Kennedy for...ever I suppose." Johnny nodded and smiled at Sara. They both broke into laughter and didn't know why.

Johnny was laughing because of Sara and Sara was laughing because of Johnny. Later they went upto bed and made love. Then held each other as they fell asleep.

The next day Sara's alarm woke her up at 6am. Johnny hadn't woken up so Sara decided to put her phone on Johnny's pillow and play the finale to The Lone Ranger next to him, as loud as possible. Johnny suddenly opened his eyes. He quickly realised the situation and started to laugh. Sara laughed too and Johnny lightly threw a pillow at her and turned down the music. "Good Morning Johnny." Johnny lent up and kissed her, "I can't stay angry at you!" She giggled, "So you call throwing a pillow at someone angry hey?" Johnny's face turned sarcastically serious, "Yes, yes I do. You know how I once trashed a Hotel room? That was all done by the pillow. You must blame them for everything!" Sara had bad giggles by now, "Whatever!" They kissed again.

They both got up and got some breakfast. Then they got in their car and made their way to a Hollywood studio for a scripted rehearsal. Johnny went straight into the make up room and Sara had to talk to a few people. She couldn't get the whole baby idea out of her head so was in a but of a daze for most of the day, plus staring at Johnny never helped. The day went by quite fast and soon Wally (the director) shouted, "And that's a wrap on today's rehearsals. Well done everyone, I expect to see you all back tomorrow morning for actual filming to begin."

Johnny made his way over to a concerned looking Sara. "What's up babe?" Johnny said sliding his arms around her waist. Sara smiled and put her arms round his neck, "Don't worry about it." Johnny looked down at her, "But I do worry when you are worrying about something." Sara laughed, "Well don't. I'll be fine. How did you find it?" Johnny kissed her lips lightly, "Great. Now common..."

They got home at around 6.30pm and Johnny made pizza and fries as Sara did some paperwork. They ate and then cuddled up on the couch, watching a movie. Once it was over Johnny switched it off with the remote and diverted back onto Sara's worries, "Are you scared about the baby?" "No, I just don't know what I'm thinking at the moment." "Well, if there is anything you don't like just let me know and I'll change it for you." Johnny kissed her lips and she could tell he was kissing away all worries he thought were there and they fell asleep on the couch.
