(Val's POV)
"Yes" The vacant words cause my head to shoot up. Jenna's blue eyes stare at me with a stained glass effect shine off of them. "Jenna." I say. A smile crosses her face.
"I'm ok." she promises.
"So did I hear a yes?" I ask.
"Yes, you heard a yes." Jenna nods and I slide the her finger, and I kiss her hand. "Do you know where you got, uh," how do I work this, "shot?" I whisper.
"Right between my chest and shoulder blade on the right side." she answers. I let out a sigh of relief and Jenna asks, "Does how are Britt, Witt, and Linds?"
Their names cause me to wince in pain, I watched all of three of them get shot, it was like losing my little sisters. The shaky memories of last night come flooding back and my eyes fill with tears.
"Um, uh... Jenna they... didn't make it." I whisper.
"No, they have to be ok." she cries, "They have to be ok." Tears are in her eyes now, as she squeezes tightly onto my hands. "This isn't fair," Jenna murmurs, "We were suppose to be best friends forever."
"Jenna, they're in a better place, they're safe now." I promise her. I stand to hug her and she sobs into my shoulders. Her sobs turn into mumbled cries and she calms down as someone knocks on the door.
Sasha enters with hands in his pockets, his eyes not quite on anything. "What happened?" I ask.
"Uhhhh, Alek's gone." Sasha says scratching the back of his head.
"See, no one's ok!" Jenna yells at me.
"No no, some people are ok." I state, "Hayley, Sharna, Alan Carlos, Nick, and Hayes are ok." I promise. A sharp ringing noise escapes from one of her monitor's.
Her breathing becomes shallow and her eyes fill with tears. "Val help me." she cries as her eyes close.
"Sasha get a doctor!" I yell.
Oops, sometimes my fingers write before my brain can catch up...
