The Pirate and the Princess

Chapter 7

"Come on Lucy, I want to introduce you to the master of the Fairy Tail pirates." Mira grasped Lucy's hand and began dragging her off of the ship. Mira was excited to show Lucy the hidden secrets  of being apart of their group of pirates.

"Ok ok," Lucy smiles. "But can you please let go of my hand. I can walk on my own you know." Mira's grip was devil scary strong. Looking down at her hand,  some places in it were already starting to turn blue. Lucy started trying to gently pull her hand from the woman grip. 

Mira quickly releases her hand, "I am so sorry. I am just really excited. You know you are the first person in a while that has made it this far. I believe there is hope for you here." Mira looks at Lucy and smiles. She had complete faith that she was worthy to know what they were about and their secret power only members know about.

Lucy began to wonder how people didn't make it this far, all she did was fight the captain in a sword match. Lucy began to think about the last time she spoke to him. Right after she patched his wound up they had begun acting like complete strangers. Lucy didn't mind it much. She thought it was probably for the best if they weren't any closer than they already where. She began to think about the times she got under his skin and began to smile to herself. 

Lucy and Mira began walking deeper and deeper into the island. Lucy immediately notices all of the vegetation inhabiting the island. It was so beautiful, she had never seen anything like it. She was never allowed to go out and adventure on her own but she did anyway. She would always go far from her home and explore beyond the fence. Outside her gated hell, was pure wonderland. She would venture far from her home and run to the shore. She would witness many pirate ships in the distant seas. She loved that place, she would read endless amounts of books there. Until the day her father wouldn't let her out of his sight, that was the day she had lost her special run away place. 

"Whoa," Lucy gazed at the wonderful sight she was seeing. "This is your base. This is, without a doubt, the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life." 

Mira laughed, it was beautiful, extraordinarily unique. Every island they had ever been too, not one could match the authenticity their island inhabited. This was the island they called home, why not have the best island.

Natsu and Happy ran past the two girls. Natsu didn't even notice them, he was running so fast. Mira placed her hands around her lips, "Where are you going in such a hurry?" She bellowed, hoping her voice caught the attention of their ears.

The vocal waves barely touched his ear enough for it to slightly be heard. Natsu came to a halt. Looking around to see if he heard right. Mira called him again, Natsu turned around. Mira and Lucy caught up to him, panting a little. "I said where are you running off too in a hurry? You basically left everyone in the dust."

Natsu scratched his stubble, "well I wanted to show gramps, this cool thing I found on our journey. Before we brought her along." He motioned towards Lucy. "But I wanted to be the first on to approach him, but if  you need something that can wait."

Mira put up her hands, "no, no, I don't need anything at all." Mira heard her name being called in the distance. Someone asked her for her assistance. "Well I will see you both at the ceremony. That is if you are worthy. But, like I said before I have no doubt you will fail." She put her hands on Lucy's shoulders. "Ok I am off." She waved them good bye.

Lucy looked at the fixed wound. "How is your arm?" After she poured the alcohol on his arm to numb him, she tied his arm with the cloth to block the circulation. She cut away the dead flesh with the knife and went digging for the bullet. She forgot that she needed tweezers, so they took a little break to find that. hours later she finally got the bullet out.
