*Caroline's POV*

"What are you doing?" I asked him.

He gave me a little smile. I looked out the car window to see that we were at the beach. It was the middle of the winter and raining, is this boy crazy? He got out of the car and told me to follow him. We got out of the car and walked down to the water, hand in hand. I looked up and the sky was dark, filled with millions of bright stars and a full moon illuminating the sky. But in my eyes, the real view was him. I cannot believe that I met him less than a week ago. But when two people who are meant for each other meet, it seems like an instant connection. This boy is going to drive me insane.

Nash started walking into the water.

"What the heck are you doing? It's freezing!" I said, laughing.

"I'm just going for a swim. Care to join me?" He said, throwing his shoes behind us.

I looked at the big goofy smile on his face, and how could I say no? I took off my shoes and placed them in the sand. I had on a dress and a coat, how was I supposed to swim?! I walked deeper into the water towards Nash. It wasn't as cold as I thought. When I got to him, he picked me up and I squirmed to get away, laughing at him. We were in the water for a bit longer, then got out and went into the car. I was shivering, so he gave me a hoodie he found in the trunk of his car. We talked and laughed the whole ride back to my place.

When he dropped me off, he walked me up to the porch and planted a kiss on my cheek, "Thank you for an amazing time tonight, Caroline. And I'm sorry for springing the whole thing about my mom on to you so quickly."

"Its okay, Nash. I understand. I had a great time too."

I collapsed onto my bed with a smile on my face. I'm falling for a boy I just met. I can't rush into this too quickly, I don't want to ruin anything.
