Charles Chaplin said, "We think too much and feel too little".

The saddest thing, in this Godforsaken life, is how much truth this eight-letter statement holds.  Personally, I am disgusted with how much I overthink things.  I think about things until I have torn the thought to shreds.

And even though I know that I am unable to do anything about anything,

I still do it.

And when one overthinks things, their life becomes surreal.  It doesn't feel like they are walking around with a purpose; it feels like a dream.  And how might one go about bringing themselves back to reality?

That is truly the question, is it not?

Maybe we ought to try jolting ourselves awake, like we do when we fall in our dreams.

But that is nearly impossible when you are more awake when you are asleep, than when you are living.
