Stiles looked up from the Laws and Legislations of the US Congress, as Derek came back, from wherever he'd gone.
It had been thirty five minutes of him internally freaking out, and Jackson quietly reassuring him, he hadn't just left, without saying Goodbye.
"Here."
Stiles stared at the Pizza Box, in Derek's hand, and the Dr. Pepper's in his other.
"You went out to buy a pizza, for me?" Stiles asked.
Derek raised a brow, "No, I was planning on feeding the several others in the Stilinski Residence, currently in a food Coma", he deadpanned.
"I ate!!!"
"Yes", Derek agreed, "Like a stuffed man, forced to a chair!"
Stiles pouted, but he took the Pizza. No sense in wasting good Pizza.
Opening the lid, he gaped, "Gods yesss!!! I'm not sharing", he stated unnecessarily, and he lifted a gooey-cheesy pepperoni slice, with pineapples, and biting down.
He groaned cheerfully and finished the slice in three big bites.
Derek smiled softly, "So, Jax is sleeping with Danny and the little twins?" he asked softly.
"Yup and Deputy Parrish escorted Lydia and Kira home. Adam and Melanie went home as well, probably to enjoy one night, before Mr. and Mrs. Mahealani fly in tomorrow afternoon. Melissa, Scott and Isaac went home. And Jackson dropped off Malia, before he finally crashed. Chris is sleeping downst-"
"Downstairs, yeah I saw him", Derek nodded, "And Peter's scent is faint, so he's probably skulking around town, like a broody Vampire, with a particular bloodlust for garlic, out in the town, somewhere", he muttered sardonically.
"Yeah, and dad just about slept, so it's just me, waiting for you. About that, give a guy a warning. I panicked, Jackson ended up glaring the last time my heartbeat sky-rocketed only to see me heartbeat sky rocketed only to see me panicking over noting, according to him anyway", he grumbled. "I definitely didn't miss that", he huffed, finally at ease long enough to pull of his jacket and sweatshirt.
"Those are coated with venom", Derek hissed warily.
Huh?
Looking down at the daggers he'd sheathed to his arm-holsters, he nodded.
"What kind?" he asked curiously but edged back a safe distance.
Stiles frowned, "You know they're sheathed right?" he asked.
"Sheathed?" he snarked sarcastically pointing at the naked blade.
"Magically, Sourwolf", he rolled his eyes, "The Shields will only break away, after I whisper an incantation", he explained, "Otherwise, they're about as harmless as a butter knife. You'd honestly think that, if I—Stiles Stilinski— was strapping blades dipped in three different kinds of venom, on my flailing limbs, I'd take all precautions", he shrugged removing the arm-holsters, and walking to his closet.
"Point taken. Okay", he relaxed, "So, three venoms?" he asked, settling back down.
Stiles didn't blame him, if someone had released venomous blades in his presence, trust be damned, he'd have bolted as well.
"Uh, yeah", he answered, re-situating the blades, before going to the bathroom to wash his hands, "One Aconite based solution mixed with Mountain Ash, Two a Lichen based blood of demon that died & a paralyzing toxin of a Kanima. And three", he walked back into the room grinning wickedly, "Good old fashioned Snake Venom", he teased.
