Ronda was surprisingly supporting where I thought she would go all catholic maniac like my Mama when she finds out, that's why I'm going to find Trevor and tell him he has to marry me. I don't know what I'm going to do if he doesn't agree, he's been more aggressive than ever. I would hate to be denied in any way because of my skin color and that's something Mama brings up all the time because of what Papa did with his slave owners wife back when.
I look out the window as snow pelts down in it's white fluff glory. It's almost Christ's birthday and I had to go get pregnant with a white man which is a big mistake in Mama's eyes but the thing is I really love him; he's told me that he loves me too but I don't know what he's really thinking as he says that, every time we made love he could've been thinking of another woman I don't know for sure.
I look over at Ronda and smile to myself. Why have I been blessed with such an understanding big sister? I think as we continue down the winter white roads with Christmas lights and trees shinning from the windows. I love Christmas so much, so are you my little one.
