I wake up, dazed and confused with tear stained cheeks.

I glance at the clock through the dark. 4:30AM it reads. I push the covers back and sit up, pushing my hair away from my face.

I pull my laptop out and go onto Netflix, then click friends.

You will not cry again. You will not cry again.

I repeat over and over.

The show loads and I watch to keep my mind off of things. I'll do this until I can get ready for school.

Hours go by until it's time I can get ready for school.

I take out a beige cropped tee and a white button up skirt. Then I put my diamond earrings on and head out the door, grabbing my bag along the way.

Today my mom is taking the day off so I get to use her car. Just another reason not to think of Harry.

I get in the car and drive toward the school, the radio playing softly throughout the car. My head aches from the tears I shed last night.

Once I pull up at school I hop out of the car and stroll up the front steps.

I feel like the world has changed since yesterday. People are looking at me, staring. I can't help but think maybe everyone knows what happened. They probably do since I made a scene in the cafeteria.

I continue up the stairs. Once I'm in the school I find my locker and put the combo in the lock, and open it. My books rest on the shelf and I have to go on my tip toes to reach.

Usually Harry would get them for me.

I curse myself out.

Stop thinking about him.

I raise on my toes reach but before my hand can touch the books a hand weasels past mine and grabs them for me.

I jump and twirl around, hoping it's not Harry.

It's Jackson.

"Here ya go." He smiles. I return the gesture and take the books.

"Thanks, Jack." I say and hug the books to my chest.

"No problem. Can I walk you to class?" He asks and I immediately nod. Anything to keep my mind off of....

There I go again.

"I would love it."

I turn on my heel and start down the hall with him, when I notice everyone parting like the Dead Sea when we walk by.

It's refreshing. It's just like things were when we were dating.

I mentally freeze. I slowly glance at Jackson from the corner of my eye and glance back to the people around us.

Oh my gosh.

People think that since I'm done with Harry I'm with Jackson again.

Lyla, a girl who I used to be friends with whilst dating Jackson steps to my side. "Hey Audrey. I feel like we haven't talked in ages! We should get lunch soon, and catch up." I stare at her with my mouth gaping open, and I glance back at Jackson.

She raises her eyebrow in curiosity. "Yes. Sure Lyla." I smile.

"Cool. Text me!" She peels away and turns down a different hall.

"What's going on?" Jackson whispers in my ear.

"Nothing!" I grin.

I recognize the hall we are approaching as the hall that Harry's locker is in, also the hall where his gang hangs around in the mornings.
