I hate Tuesdays. I don't know what it is about them, but for some reason I've always hated Tuesdays.
I watch as people stagger across the grass as if there half asleep.
Thankfully my mom didn't suspect a thing when I got home last night. She asked me how Michelle was, then we didn't speak for the whole rest of the night. I feel a bit guilty not letting my best friends know about what's been happening lately.
"What's up with you today?" Michelle nudges her shoulder into mine. I shake my thoughts away and muster a smile. "Hey, what are you not telling me?" She stops in the middle of her step. Madison still isn't at school because of her family emergency. But I decide to tell her anyways.
I take her hand and pull her to one of the schools outdoor benches. We have fifteen minutes before school starts so we sit down.
I spill. Everything. I tell her about that day in the hall, that night at the party, the next day at my party, the kiss the next morning, bowling with him, and I even tell her about dinner at his house. Minus the parts about his father. Once I'm finished her mouth gapes open in shock. "Harry?" She sputters. "Harry? Like Harry Styles.. He invited you to his house for dinner?" She blinks rapidly. "You met his mom!" She raises her voice. I lightly slap her arm and tell her to be quiet.
"He's totally falling for you!" She gasps. I roll my eyes get up from my spot, scooping my bag up. "You better not keep things anymore!" She warns with her slim index finger pointed in my face. She picks up her bag and we turn to leave, before Michelle freezes in her spot.
"Audrey.." She tugs on my arm. Michelle's eyes are glued to a group of people walking towards us. They're dressed head to toe in black and white, tattoos on every visible part of skin, their faces pierced. Harry's group.
Zayn's got his arm slung around a slim blonde, she looks up at him with a grin as he pulls her closer, taking a drag of his cigarette. Liam, Louis, and Niall all have their bags slung across one of their shoulders. Harry's in the middle of everyone, as if he's leading the way. He's got on a tight black shirt and his usual tight dark skinny jeans and a pair of ray bans.
"Look at Niall.." She practically drools.
The closer they get to us bigger the gnawing feeling of nervousness hits me. Harry's pulls his lip ring in between his teeth as he eyes me up and down. My heart jumps when I see him wink at me. I conceal my excitement with a small smile. Michelle is nearly bursting in happiness. "would you stop?" I whisper yell to her. She snaps out of her fangirl trance and stares at something behind me. I whip my head around to find their group standing before us.
Harry raises his eyebrow at me. "You coming?" He asks, as if it's expected. I can't help but choke a cough.
"Um, ya!" I say looking back at Michelle for permission. She nods and shoos me away. Something about leaving her alone doesn't feel right. "Can Michelle come too?" I look up at Harry. He's so much taller than I am.
He looks over at her, head to toe before shrugging. "Sure." He mutters. I smile up at him before taking her hand and dragging her by Niall. Her face immediately lights up.
"Niall this is my best friend Michelle!" I tell him. I rush back to Harry's side, and we start into the school.
I can't stop myself from looking up at him beside me. His jaw bone is so prominent, his sparkling green eyes, his plump pink lips. "Staring is rude." He looks down at me with a smirk. I bite my lip and quickly look away.
"Sorry.." I mumble.
I feel as if all eyes are watching me closely. There are two populars groups in this school. That is the football players and their friends. Everyone envies them. Then there is Harry's clique. No one is ever aloud around then unless they tell you. There only known for their good looks and being bad. "You look beautiful today.." Harry leans in and whispers into my ear. I nearly choke. I quickly look up at him and he nervously scratches his neck.
