Some families are forced to go into hiding, including the family of our main heroine. Her family and her ends up getting captured and with the help of an unlikely ally, she escapes. For awhile, she goes off on her own, her need for revenge driving her to live on. It isn't until she joins a rebel group does she become the face of a rebellion she wants no part of.
