Summary: Lorena Jackson, used to present herself by saying she had the best job in Los Angeles as a LA Newspaper Journalist, a perfect man to call her own, and a promotion waiting for her. Little did she know, everything was about to change. She got the promotion which required her to move to New York, which she couldn't be any happier about. But then, the 'perfect' man broke her heart and she lost control of everything. After a year of being in New York, depressed out of her mind, she finally finds the solution. A Sperm Donor so she could pick the perfect father for her child. Thinking a child will fill the void, she tries it but after a month of hope she gives up.
Things got better at work and she met another man, soon enough she was praying that the Sperm Donor didn't work. Unfortunatly, it did work and she finds herself pregnant in New York where she can't afford to raise the child. She moves back to LA but that forces her to loose her job so she gets stuck working at a local deparment store raising a wild child.
Her daughter Savannah, now sixteen, just wants to graduate and move on with her life by going to Art School and having nothing to do with her mother. Join Lorena and Savannah as they bump into strange events, funny situations, and some heartfelt moments.
