Chapter 24: Encounter Of "Old" Friends

Back in Dressrosa

"Hurry Dex" Amaryellis shouted despite the thousand of screams that were heard all throughout the island.

"Coming I'm coming" Dexter responded.

"Help!!!! Somebody help!!!!"

The screams caught Amaryellis as she saw a man with his leg trap under some rubble. A women and a small child close by trying so hard to free him but with no luck.

"Daddy!!" The little girl cried.

"Go on without me!!" The man shouted.

"Hugo!!" The women cried. "Somebody!! Anybody help us!!"

Amaryellis ran towards them, Dexter right behind her.

"I need you to stand back" Amaryellis ordered to the women and her child.

"Who??"

"Don't worry Yellis is going to get him out A. S. A. P" Dexter commented.

"Talking cat!!" The women shouted holding her daughter close.

"Not helping Dex" Amaryellis added before returning her attention to the trapped man.

"Who are you?" The man 'Hugo' asked.

"That the last of our concerns. Hold still ok" Amaryellis answered. Her hands aimed towards the rubble. "Wind release"

A wave of air came from her hand, rupturing the rubble and pushed the small pieces of stone off him. Amaryellis was quickly to help him to his feet.

"Mommy" the girl yelled as she pointed to the sky.

Amaryellis looked up, eyes wide open. "Wind Palm"

Amaryellis can release a strong wind towards the falling building with great shock of waves of pure force, shattering into small harmless pieces of stone.

"Are you hurt?"

The man shook his head. "No I'm going to be ok"

Amaryellis nodded then turned to Dex. "Take care of them"

"What!! What about you Yellis"

Amaryellis shook her head. "No they need you more. Get them to safety. Far way from the strings. Close to the center of the Kingdom"

"I" Dexter answered as he went to help the man walk. Together with the women and her child headed away from the danger as possible.

Quite sometime had passed since Doflamngo had a large birdcage trapping everyone in Dressrosa with no means of every escaping. Amaryellis aided anyone she could. Men, women, children, old, animals. Her profession as a doctor allowed her to heal those in need of it. So she ended up teaming up with some of the citizen who decided to help everyone they could.

Things were going just as Doflamingo had planned. Pirates of the worst generation found themselves being chased by members of the Doflamingo, marines and citizens of Dressrosa. Amaryellis could hear and see the hide fights going on but she didn't bother to investigate. There were people who need her first.
