Chapter 15: Shots Fired!!!! Shots Fired !!!!! Pirates: 1 Marines: 1

P.O.V Mia

Mia couldn't help but smile as she watched her captain cleaning up the cave. Everything was almost as they used to be, way before the incident with the Marines. Not that it surprised her, she been traveling with the crew for 2 years now and from her time in the crew. She came to learn that this crew was one strange crew indeed.

Ever crew has there own story and background, it was hard to believe that they all actually meet and now are traveling together. Some of them had some sort of dark past in which they would want to forget. Luckily, she wasn't one of them in fact, Mia loved her childhood. It wasn't the best but she was happy, she grew up with her older brother til he decided to become a pirate and joined a crew. Leaving Mia behind but not that she mind, in fact, she was happy they took different roads. Even when they weren't part of the same crew, they were still siblings by blood and nothing was ever going to change that. Not even death itself.

But in a way, things were different now, 51 years had passed since then. Mia couldn't help but wonder what became of her brother, is he still a pirate? Did he get married and started a family? Is he still alive? Was he still waiting for her return? There were many questions that Mia had and all them she had no answers to. Her only hope to locate her brother and hope that he was still alive.

But that would have to wait, Mia's loyalty was to her captain and crew. She had to get stronger to protect them from what awaited them in the near future. She been training along with Zoe no stop. Zoe was very skilled with the sword, in fact more better then her. Yet Mia was the swordsman of the crew and not Zoe. Zoe was the firstmate and the second strongest of the crew and everyone knew it. Mia was able to improve her abilities with Zoe help, who keeped pushing her on stop during the training sessions.

She wasn't going to fail again, she was going to get stronger. She may not be the strongest swordswomen but she could be the second one.

P.O.V. Harper

Harper was in depression land. She was the weakness member of the crew, heck even Dexter was more stronger then her. And he fights with a fish, for heaven's sake. She has never been much of a fighter, all she knew stuff and nothing more.

Harper joined the crew in hopes of achieving her greatest dream, to write the ultimate adventure book. A book telling her adventures as a pirate, writing about her travels, people she meet among other things. She may not be the strongest of the crew but she was the most resourceful. Not as good as gather information as Asa but she was pretty good at it. Unlike her nakame, she has expertise in many fields, such as with navigations, politics, money, literature, mathematics, history and bit of medical knowledge .

She may not be good at fighting but she was a important part of crew. While everyone else was fighting, Harper would usually remain in the background protected by someone in the crew. Yet Harper couldn't help but feel helpless, she need to do more for her crew but only if she was stronger.

Harper has thought about finding a devil fruit and uses those abilities to aid her crew in battle but she will always back down. Becoming a devil fruit user was something that you have to think about. After all, can't just become a devil user with thinking of the consequences of not being able to swim. Swimming is something Harper had never mastered and with a devil fruit, she will never. But if there was no choice and she had a devil fruit in her hands and her crew were in danger, she won't hesitate.
