Chapter 11: The Mad Man And The Fish Mermaid

P.O.V._ Lucas

        This was home for, Lucas. Water 7 sure was a place were he could retire when he got older. The town was peaceful and he could watch other people working all day while he did nothing but sit back and relax.

      Remi was sure taking her sweet time building the ship, not that Lucas minded. Capone was bored. Maxus was who knows where. The people were sure strange here and he wanted to know why.

     He walked around the town until he came to a bar that said Blueno's Bar. Inside he found that the place wasn't so crowded but something caught his eyes.

    There was a huge bunny eating next to little girl and a elder women with strange green hair. If anything, Lucas loved a strange and mysterious things and people. He had to find out about the bunny at all cost. He headed towards them.

    "Hey, there bunny"

"Who are you strange guy" replied the girl.

    "Something I can help you with" replied the elder women.

     "Yes, where did you find him" pointing to the bunny.

   "This is my friend, Gonbe, am Chimney and this is my grandma Kokoro" replied Chimney with a huge smile.

   "Gonbe isn't, interesting I never seen a animal like you before"

   "Isn't he great!!!"

"Aren't you guest at Iceberg house" replied Kokoro drinking her bottle of bosz.

   "Hay, i was just exploring the town til I ran into you"

  "A fine city isn't she"

"Very fine indeed" replied Lucas

          Lucas continued to talk to Kokoro about the town and about the bunny and its habits. Lucas was having the time of his life and he didn't want it to end.

     "If your so interested in mystical creatures, why don't I show you one"

"Really, where is it" replied Lucas with a excitement.

  "Hahhhhh well aren't you an excited one"

  "Show!!! Him grandma, show him, show him show him!!!!!" Replied a excited Chimney and Gonbe.

   "Hahhhh we might as well" responded Kokoro. "Come Lucas"

    Kokoro along with Chimney and Gonbe directed Lucas towards a pool filled with water. Lucas had no idea what Kokoro was going to to til she jumped into the water.

  "Hayyy go grandma"

    Then out of now where, Kokoro jumped out of the water but there was something different about her. Instead of her feet and shoes, she had a tail. Lucas was completely shock. Kokoro had a tail which could only mean one thing.

    "Your a mermaid, I...I....I... could have never guessed," replied Lucas bearly getting his words out.

   "Hahhhhhh Am a fish mermaid, to be presides"

   "Yahhh yahhh yahhh, go grandma" replied Chimney while jumping up and down along with Gonbe.

   "Amazing, you must tell me more"

   "Sure why not"

   Once Kokoro was decent once again. Everyone went back to Blueno's Bar for a round of bosz and a long talk about fish mermaids. This was the beginning of one of the strangest friendship, of a mad navigator and a fish mermaid with a side of a energetic girl and her bunny.

    Those who wonder, why Lucas didn't faint or freak out, like the straw hats when they saw her mermaid form for the first time. The answer is very simple, Lucas is mad, he loves strange and new stuff no matter how ugly or pretty they are. He only cares about learning new stuff that he never seen before. Which is explained with the town, Gonbe and Kokoro's mermaid form.
