This is Us (Niall Horan)

At the new house

Kenzie's Pov:
I start unpacking in my room. I chose a room with a window that is close to the house next door. I unpack all my clothes and my furniture is already in here. By the time I'm done unpacking everything it's already 5:00. My mum starts work tomorrow in her new position. Which is one if the reasons we moved. "Honey, come down for supper," My mum calls me down. I head downstairs and sit at the table. My mom grabs plastic plates she just bought so we don't have to use the ones we packed because they are probably dirty in the box. She gives us our supper and I finish and throw away my plate. I walk up to my room and search through my Ipad for a good movie. I stop at this movies that looks interesting. Its called "Mean Girls." I play the trailer and decide to watch it. I finish the movie and I yawn. Its only about 9:00 but I'm tired. I fall asleep.

I wake up and check the time, 7:30. I walk downstairs and see my mom getting ready to leave for work. "Bye mum, I love you." I tell her. "Oh good morning honey. Bye, love you. See you after work." She walks out the door and drives off. I grab two pieces bread toast them then, butter them and head back up to my room.  I eat the toast and fall back asleep.

I wake up at 3:00. I slept that long. My father comes up to my room with tears staining his cheeks. "Your mum is in the hospital. She has little to no chance of making it." I start to cry. If we stayed in London this probably wouldn't have happened. I can't lose my mum. I love her too much. We rush to the hospital and when we get there she is flat lining. I fall to my knees outside of her room and know that she has passed. I can't lose her. The doctor comes out and says, "Im deeply sorry, your mother has passed away." I can't even manage to get words out of my mouth. My father and I drive home. I run to my room and cry. I cry and cry. I need my mum and I have just lost her.
