Fearless 3 [ That's What He Is]
"Dreams are like stars, you may never touch them, but if you follow them they will lead you to your destiny." - Liam Payne

3rd Person POV
Recap:
"Niall is a.." Ariana began, hopefully coaching Jessie to finish the sentence.
--
Jessie giggled and opened her mouth wide, pointing to her canine teeth. "Famhire." She said, struggling to speak with her mouth wide open.
"Are you saying vampire?" Aria wondered leaning down so her face was equal to Jessie's.
Jessie closed her mouth and nodded. Ariana could of fainted then and there.
A vampire? No way. They were a myth. They're not real. Like The Mothman or Slenderman.
Ariana pulled up a chair and sat down, clutching her head. Then again, Jessie was only little. She couldn't possibly know. Besides, Ariana hadn't spotted fangs on any of the three red-eyed weirdos.
Jessie didn't have them either. She looked totally normal. Her chocolatey brown hair was tied in a small, tight plait and her dull blue eyes were just.. Blue.
"Are you one?" Ariana asked, poking Jessie in the side. She jumped. "No."
Aria was puzzled. "Is Abby one?" She asked.
Jessie nodded furiously, "Yes!" She squealed, suddenly excited.
She went to run but Aria threw her arm around her small body.
"Is Harry your brother?"
Jessie groaned. "No. Why does everyone keep asking me that? He idn't my brother." Jessie pouted.
Ariana found Jessie's little speech problem really cute. "Is he Abby's brother?"
"Half."
Ariana frowned. Half? What is that supposed to mean?
"Oh, like half brother?" Aria said.
Jessie seemed to like this answer and nodded her head. She had the same reaction Abby had with Harry, but now, she seemed far away. As if she didn't really care for him.
Ariana wanted to continue asking questions but knew from a six year old they wouldn't be very accurate. She told Jessie to go upstairs and watch tv in her room why she cleaned up the living room. Jessie disappeared upstairs.
Aria looked at her hand. The wound didn't hurt too much but blood was spilling out. She ran into the study and grabbed the med kit. Unlocking it, she grabbed a bandage and wrapped it firmly around her hand. She added a pin to secure it.
"There." She smiled, looking at her handiwork. "That's cool."
She could hear Abby crying in the bathroom. Guilt over washed her quickly but she knew she wasn't safe with her. Vampires may be a myth but everyone knows what they do. Suck blood. The end.
She still contemplated opening the door, her final decision being a no.
"Maybe I should let her use my laptop so she's not bored."
Ariana tore her mind away and headed back to the lounge room, ready to pick the glass up once and for all.

Harry's POV
Ariana shut the door right in my face. I repeatedly kicked myself for losing concentration. I had to find out where Niall went.
She wouldn't say whether she knew him or not.
Niall had marked Ariana when she was a mere infant. But now, Aria is nineteen, the same age as Niall and he wants her.
I hated Niall. I told him I'd mark her and he had to fudging get to her first. For my advantage Louis had bitten another person on Ariana's road. Abby, a little girl. Having her there would draw Niall closer. Then I would know where he was. But a few weeks later we discovered that Abby had a sister. We couldn't bite her without a good reason and she was too young anyway.
So now, Abby is my half sister and since they're twins, we just say Jessie is too. I'll never have the same connection but that's okay.
We spotted Niall's car a few roads along and I've asked everyone who lives nearby. I hesitated going to Ariana's but assumed if he was nearby, he'd be here. It seems he is too.
So here I am, still standing right in front of her door. I took a few deep breaths to get my normality back then I pressed the bell again.
Ariana opened the door and glared at me. The first thing I did was make sure her blood was covered up.
Aria tensed and her eyes went to scared.
"Ariana, don't be afraid of me! Please. I need to talk to you." I said quickly, placing my foot in front of door.
"How do you know my name?!" She barked.
"Um- one of your neighbors." I lied, rubbing a hand over my neck.
"You have ten minutes." Ariana said and opened the door wider. I stepped inside and followed her into the lounge room. There was a single chain hanging in the centre of the room. Had she attempted suicide? The chain was really fancy, gold painted and had little jewels. If she was going to hang herself she sure wanted to die looking rich.
"Look, I'm a from a long chain of mystical--"
"Skip to the important part Harry. I know you're a vampire." Ariana snapped.
I gulped and nodded. "If you've seen him, Niall has blue eyes and blonde hair. Listen to me, don't go near him. Don't listen to him. Don't let Abby or Jessie near him. But whatever you do, don't let yourself bleed. Niall can sense it and he'll be here in seconds. You must trust me Aria and do this."
Ariana was still for a while she let it all sink in. "How do I know you're not lying and Niall is the good guy?"
I sat down and looked up at Ariana. "Have you seen Niall?" I asked, entirely dodging her question.
Ariana nodded slowly. "H-he tried to t-take Jessie."
Knew it. Fudging knew it. I pulled Ariana into a tight squeeze.
"I'm not lying cos' I love you."
