Recap: "Look who's here."

The piercing red eyes looking down at Ashlyn belonged to Niall.
He grinned and dropped back onto the grassy ground.

Niall looked up at Ashlyn. Just the sight of her relieved him. That meant that the guys were in the forest.

His eyes returned the blue and he sat down on a nearby log.

"Niall, why are you here?" Ashlyn demanded, stomping up to Niall's hunched figure.

"You don't understand Ashlyn! I've always loved Ariana. Harry is barely worse then you. I couldn't help myself. I had to mark her!" Niall exclaimed, throwing his arms out.


Ashlyn's anger for him grew. Her eyes reddened and her fangs glistened. "You had no right." She barked.


Feeling her eyes burning holes in the side of his head he nodded. "I know."




Niall was so hurt when Harry turned on him. He was scared that no one could keep him safe from
Harry so he resorted to Yhala. He knew that if he pretended to agree to kill Ariana, she would keep him from harm.

Niall couldn't hide this secret forever. Eventually Yhala worked it out that Niall still loved her and she too decided to hunt him down.


"Niall, are you really helping Yhala?" Ashlyn whispered, clutching her buzzing phone.

Niall shook his head and stood up.


"Bloody hell Ash! You know I wouldn't work for her! I needed someone to protect me and she could do it!"


Ashlyn stepped back at this sudden outburst. This was new. No one except Niall and her knew this. "So why are you here?"


Niall sighed. "Because Harry wants to kill me."

All of the vampires on Louis' team were here now. Everyone except his beloved Ashlyn. They all waited patiently but secretly they were scared of passing out.


"Louis we can't wait any longer." Liam said, getting out of the tall pine tree. It's leaves rustled and a cold air invaded the group.


"Yes we can. It's Ash we're talking about." Louis retaliated, not even so much as glancing at Liam.



The darkness was painting the sky at a quick rate and the moon's light was beginning to burn the skin of the red eyed vampires. Inside the mind of everyone they all pictured standing up against Louis and disobeying his orders. Though these vampires were smarter then that. They need Louis for this hunt.


After what seemed like a millennium, quiet talking entered Louis' ears. He leapt up and ran towards the place it was coming from.


He almost fell over backwards. "Ash!" Louis screamed, sprinting to his girlfriend in vampire speed.


Ashlyn hopped out of the way and Louis halted in his tracks.

"Louis, it's okay. She's safe." Niall reassured the panting in fear Louis.


Louis shook his head and held a finger up at Niall. "You are a monster." He seethed. "We've been waiting hours for Ashlyn and you were holding her here!"

Louis jumped at Niall, his fangs bared and his eyes burning with hatred. Ashlyn watched hopelessly as the boys punched each other and wrestled.


At the point where both boys were bruised and bleeding, and Louis' fist was centimetres from Niall's face, Ashlyn interrupted.


"LOUIS STOP! YOU'RE GOING TO KILL HIM!" Ashlyn shrieked, pulling Louis' arm away.

Louis gritted his teeth and got off of Niall. He wrapped his arms around Ashlyn but she ripped away from him. "LEAVE ME ALONE, YOU BEAST!"

"ASHLYN, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"

Ashlyn turned on her heel and began to run but Louis pulled her back and made her look him in his red eyes.

"You didn't let me explain!" She squealed, squirming in his grip.

Louis held her tighter. "Don't go near him anymore." Louis seethed.


"You don't control me! I never want to see you again!" Ashlyn shrieked and spat at Louis. To avoid the poison he had to let go and dodge the flying saliva.

Ashlyn, using vampire speed, sprinted into the darkness leaving Louis dumbfounded.
