Chapter Five
Leena P.O.V.
Waking up next to Reed Wesley was a new experience and one that I wouldn't mind repeating again. He was snoring softly near my ear, but even that wasn't enough to damper the warmness I felt in my heart. He stayed with me, even after I told him that we wouldn't be getting intimate. He stayed with me even after I was a loser and fell asleep before he could even make it back from the bathroom. His body was currently, partially wrapped around mine and his closeness was giving me tingles in foreign places. Tentatively, hoping I wouldn't wake him, I ran my hand down his rock hard abs. Reed grunted, but didn't wake up. Holy shit, what was I doing? I felt like I was violating him.
Deciding it would be best if I got out of bed, I slowly slipped out from under Reed and crawled out of bed. When he moaned and rolled over, I held my breath. It was Saturday and there was no reason he couldn't sleep in. He finally settled back down, but now I stood frozen, staring when I shouldn't be staring. When he'd moved the blankets had slipped. He now lay fully on his back with one arm thrown over his face. Seeing his bare chest again, had me heating up quickly. What had me frozen, however, was the fact that I could see that he only wore a pair of boxer briefs and the tent he was sporting reminded me of the time I wrote my phone number on his nakedness. I felt my face flaming and knew that I needed to get out of there, now, before I did something really stupid, like reach out and touch him.
I always slept in a tank top and boy-shorts, and I always walked around the apartment like that. So I didn't see any reason to do any different today. That is until I walked out of my bedroom and almost ran into someone. I gasped and jumped back a little, ready to scream until I realized that it was Blake. I softly closed my bedroom door, so not to wake Reed, and studied a very sheepish looking Blake. He was only half dressed and had been tip-toing toward the exit when I almost ran him over. I glanced back down the hall, my eyes widening as I realized what was happening. Blake spent the night here and I'm assuming it was with Josie, since the only guy Maddie let near her was Josh.
I leaned back against the wall, smirking, "So...good morning, Blake."
"Shhhh! I can't let Josh know that I banged his sister! He'll kill me." Blake hissed.
My eyes widened, "Josh is here too?" I ignored the comment about Blake "banging" Josie. How rude?
Blake nodded, frantically, "Yes, I heard them in there talking most of the night."
A click down the hall signaled a door opening. Blake's eyes widened, he shoved past me, and escaped out the front door. Josh came down the hallway, "Morning Leena...what's up? Why do you have that funny look on your face?"
"Um..." What the hell was I supposed to say? I didn't want to throw Blake under the bus, but I hated keeping secrets. I didn't want Josh to kill Blake either. They were best friends. Had Blake not considered that he might lose his best friend by hooking up with Josie? What a predicament?
Josh suddenly smirked, "You have a boy in your room, don't you? Reed stayed over?" I nodded mutely and Josh's smile widened, "That's good. I like Reed. He's still got some growing up to do, but I think he'll be good for you."
"Um, yea..." I didn't know what to say to that.
"Right, well, I should get going. Catch you later." Josh said and left before I could say anything else.
"Damn, that was close. I told that dumbass to leave earlier, but noooo." Josie said, coming up behind me.
"Jesus, Josie, I don't want to be involved in this. You know that Josh is going to be pissed, right? I mean, Blake doesn't exactly have the greatest track record with girls. What if you get your heart broken? What if Josh literally commits murder? What if..."
