*Still the past*
My heart beated rapidly as I stared at myself in the mirror. My whole body and face were covered in white bandages. I swear if someone saw me, I could pass as a mummy for a halloween party. 'Are you ready to see the new you?' Dr Nick Jones smiled. Taking a deep breath, I slowly nodded my head. He started undoing the bandage on my head revealing a new face with smooth soft skin. My swollen eyes were no longer there and were replaced by beautiful, brown glistening eyes. The burns and scratches on my skin had disappeared and was replaced by a glowing golden colour. My throat ran dry as I stared at my new body and face. I looked pretty, if I say so myself because I knew I looked so much better compared to what I looked like after that accident. 'You like the new you?' He smiled. I slowly nodded my head and continued staring at myself. 'Paris Jones, my wife.' He sighed admiring me. I raised my eyebrow at him, 'I may have lost a bit of my memory, but I'm definite that I'm not married or engaged to you.' He frowned at me before sitting down on the chair beside the mirror. I quickly got changed into some comfortable clothes before mumbling, 'What's wrong?' He looked up at me and I wasn't sure if tears had started forming at the corners of his eyes but he whispered, 'Paris Jones was my wife.' 'What do you mean?' He took a deep breath, 'She died at a car accident but I was so desperate to get her back that I made you look exactly like her.' I frowned at him in confusion, 'So now everyone's going to think I'm her?' 'That's what Mr Lerman wants to happen. He wants you to pretend to be my wife, if that's ok?' I stood up in shock, 'You guys are freaking crazy!' I shouted, 'There's no way I'm going to pretend to be your wife just because I look like her.' He quickly stood up from his seat, 'Ariana, think about it! You will have a completely new identity, this way Ethan will never recognise you. You can use my wife's identity to get your revenge back on Ethan, don't you want that to happen?' I stared at the ground for a moment before raising my eyebrow at him, 'Revenge?'
