I slowly opened the door to the studio and hung my coat on the coat hanger. Slowly tip-toeing to my desk which was a separate room from the studio, I hoped Cassandra, my boss didn't realise I was late. Sighing in relief, she wasn't in my room so it meant that she must've not realised I was late yet. I can't believe I over slept, I've only been Cassandra's personal assistant for two weeks and I'm already messing up. I've just been so tired lately, being someone's personal assistant is really hard work. I checked the pieces of paper on my desk and scanned through the names Cassandra was meeting up with today or the people she and Robert were taking professional pictures of. Cassandra and Robert have been best friends for years and they both love photography, like I do so they decided to set up a business where they take photos and put them on all kinds of magazines. I shrugged before jumping out my skin as the door flung open. It was Cassandra. Her blonde wavy hair was put up into a neat, sophisticated bun with strands of hair hanging out at the sides. She was wearing a knee length skirt that fitted perfectly which revealed the curves on her body. Her blue shirt was tucked into her skirt and she wore a long cardigan. For a thirty year old woman, she looked way younger than her age. 'What time did you get here?!' She shrieked, 'I've been looking for you all day.' Cassandra likes to over-exagerate as you can probably tell. She's not particularly nice to me either but I can cope, I guess. 'Nine o'clock on the dot.' I know it's not good to lie but I can't lose my job. This may not be my dream job but it's close enough. 'You sure because I for all know that you weren't here at exactly nine in the morning.' 'I.. um...'I hesitated, 'I had to put the bins out.' I lied yet again. 'Sandra!' Robert smirked, peeping through the door, 'Give the girl a break. She's only been here for two weeks.' He smiled kindly at me, 'Don't worry about it.' He dashed off back to the studio. Cassandra sighed and walked over to me, 'This better not happen again,do you understand?!' I quickly nodded my head, 'I promise.' She wiggled her bum elegantly as she sat down on the chair beside my desk. 'Mr Lerman is coming over at one. But me and Rob are going to be a bit late so when he comes over make him feel like he's home.' She said. My throat ran dry as the name echoed in my head. 'Mr Lerman?' I repeated. 'Yeah.' She pointed at his name on the list. I read it in my head, 'Mr. Ethan Lerman.' 'Have you ever met him?' I asked her. 'Yeah, he's really nice. Don't tell anyone I told you but...' She laughed, 'He's really hot!' I laughed at how cringey she was but that was one of the things I loved about Cassandra- she was so open about her thoughts and she was so funny. Sometimes she can be a bit scary though! 'Anyway, I need to get back to work.' She darted out the room leaving me all on my own. I sighed then grabbed my phone out my bag. I dialled a number and after a few rings he picked up, 'Hello?' I mumbled. 'Babe, what's up?' My throat ran dry, 'He's coming over.' 'Babe, don't worry. Stay calm. I'm coming to get you...'
