EPILOGUE
Three more months had passed, we got out of the hospital and go on with our lives. Billy recuperated and served as the state witness in the mob’s case. I finally unlocked the mystery behind the freakin’ file. The money was located at Nana’s bank. My dad’s clue was the digits on each file at the bottom that will lead you to the multiple labyrinths of passwords and the coordinates on where it can be found. Atty. Thompson had no idea. It is under a fictitious name, when I found it I gave it right away to his Dad. Nana and Dad made sure no one can find it but me. I resumed my job at the Law Firm and my studies. Gavin is back to his usual badass MSP shape and cannot wait to hit someone with the Miranda Rights. Mom on the other hand, also recovered and trying to put her life back.
“Meg, settle please!” Sam.
“I’m all red, Argh!” I hissed.
“You’re dress will be wrinkled all over!” Ryan scolded.
“I haven’t had any make up but I looked like I had bad tanning!” I replied.
“One more attitude missy and I’m gonna kick your butt!” Sam.
My friends are helping me to prepare. We are at the Lake Boa. White tulips and pink roses are carefully arranged going to the altar that is built for this occasion. Around twenty chairs are also set up facing the platform, on the side you can see the five piece orchestra.
“Oh please Megan this is too long awaited and you are already living together! Why do you act like this is your first time!” Sam teased.
“Yeah this is just to make it official you know!” Phoebe added.
“I am still tensed and worried, what if he will not show up!” I reasoned.
“Snap out of it, you’ve been through a lot girl. You two are meant for each other.” Ryan refuted.
“Are you still in doubt?” Jenna asked.
“Hell No! I’m scared. When the thing happened, I am a little paranoid you know. Bad stuff can ruin any God damn fairytale anytime!” I sadly uttered.
“Shhhh… it’s all over Meg. This happy ever after will take place. Don’t worry. We are here to make sure of that.” Sam said it with her as a matter of factly typical tone.
We did our group hug and frankly it made me calmed down. Sam continued to put make up on my face, Ryan tried to fix my taupe colored tube wedding gown. It was so simple yet classic and elegant. Ryan add some Swarovski gems embellishment on the waist. Mom gave me her veil that she used on her wedding. I cried again when she puts the veil herself. She gave me a peck on my cheek and a very tight loving hug. No need to say anything, we are thankful we were given a chance to mend whatever we have. After the Gilmore Girl/Gossip Girl Finale scene with my Mom and friends, Blessed Union of Souls’ “I Believe” started. My friends and their partners marched first, then our parents.
This is it! Finally… I am walking down the aisle, my Groom is at the other end of the altar looking intently at me, he is so freakin’ smokin’ H-O-T on his black tuxedo and raucous desirable hair. I wanted to cry but did my best not to. Sam will throw a hissy fit at me if I’ll ruined my makeup. T’was alengthy and treacherous trip before getting here, at last we made it.
The ceremony lasted for an hour. Just what we wanted, solemn and eloquent. With our families and friends to witness this moment, it was indeed unforgettable and priceless. My husband happens to reserved a suite in Maldives for our honeymoon. As soon as the reception ended, Jenna got the bouquet and Mike jumped for the garter by the way, we headed to the Tarmac. Mrs. Jenkins was generous enough to provide the limousine as my bridal car/gift. While on the road…
