'Beauty'

ITS CHRISTMAS EVE (3 hours before christmas YAY)

Okay so over the past few days I've had a few ideas for this chapter that have been flying around my little head so I've decided to put them together, cause i really feel the need to get this message across, warning : its gonna be quite a deep rant #deeprantswithmollie

Beauty. This word has many interpretations and meanings to different people. For instance, in the dictionary the word 'beauty' is defined as - '[MASS NOUN] A combination of qualities, such as shape, colour, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight: I was struck by her beauty an area of outstanding natural beauty.'

However in society 'beauty' is defined in a way that can sometimes make us not like ourselves. Beauty can be described as 'tall and super skinny with long blonde hair' or 'short and curvy, with nice features,' it just depends on how each individual views it. But actually beauty is all of the above, along with all of the things inbetween and everything else as well.

But what people do not realise is that beauty is our imperfections, its our differences and everything that makes us individuals. If you love someone you love them for them, you love them for their imperfections as well as their perfections... you love their scars, their moles, or stretch marks - it is those things, along with many others that make us beautiful.

As i said, everyone interprets beauty in a different way. And nobody can be blamed for how they interpret beauty but they should know how to define it: 'everyone is beautiful in their own way' And i know we hear this a lot, but everyone needs to realise that each and every person can be beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside and beauty should not be defined by looks.

No one can tell you that you aren't beautiful, because you are.
