chapter 7

"guys.. Seriously. What are we gunna do this weekend ? We went to the movies every weekend for a month. And we go to the mall the day after. We seriously need something different to do." I whined interrupting spencer and kat's argument over what movie was better to see. I looked between them and their eyes showed they were contemplating my statement. They laughed and said 'welcome to brockston. The most boring yet most interesting town on the planet.' I just shook my head and looked back down at my lunch tray. I'm so happy its Friday.

"alex. You've been living here for over 3 months now. Haven't you figured out how boring it is here ?" kat said seriously but I could see the joy on her face from the sudden burst of laughter just before.

"well there has to be SOMETHING we can do other than watch movies or walk through a bunch of stores we've seen a million times.." I whined even more dramatic then before. The bell rang signaling the end of lunch.

"we'll talk about it after school." spencer said taking my hand as we walked out of the cafeteria. "meet us on the front steps right after school." he yelled to kat waving.

"okay!" she yelled smiling at us.

Spencer guided me to my locker and we got our books for mythology. We walked into the room just in time and took our seats in the back of the room. I was lost in my own thoughts, doodling, when a folded up piece of paper landed on my desk next to my arm. I looked at it and took it in my hand and glanced at spencer who was trying to look interested in his book but failing. Epically. I looked back down and opened the note.

'so what did you have in mind for this weekend my pantless hottie ?' I smirked at his little comment. He called me 'his pantless hottie' ever since I stayed at his house and fell asleep in panties and his t shirt.

'idk something other than a movie or the mall. I mean its almost april and we spend all of our time inside. I know its still a little chilly out but its spring !' I giggled at the thought of his expression and waited for the teacher to look back at the chalk board before tossing it onto Spencer's desk. I looked back down at my book and heard him unfold the paper and start scribbling something down. And no sooner the paper hit my elbow.

'a walk in the park and I'll take a picnic basket for me and you ? We can walk over to the lake and eat it on the dock ? (:' he is so unbelievably sweet sometimes. I looked over at him biting my lip to try and keep myself from smiling but I couldn't help it. He was smiling back and I couldn't help but blush.

'that sounds AMAZING but what about kat and Lucas ? I mean YOU did promise her it could be a double date weekend. (;' I was totally the one who promised her that but he always takes the blame for my little miss haps. I smirked and tossed it to him and almost instantly got it back

'yeah I promised her.. Mhmm we'll figure something out then. Don't worry' I looked over at him, smiled and nodded my head. The bell rang and I tucked the note in my book and walked out hand in hand with spencer..

The rest of the day was pretty boring and eventless. We watched a movie for literature and got a study hall for history because Mr. Garms was behind on grading papers.

"hey so have we decided yet ?" kat asked us eagerly. She was practically bouncing out of her own skin. Well.. Lucas gave in and bought her a monster. There goes the town. I smiled at spencer and started laughing at his expression. He told me kat was a hyper person when given the right stuff but.. Wow. And his face made the moment better. "what's so funny?!" she practically screamed. She literally was jumping now. This just made Spencer burst into laughter and me laugh even harder.
