why is it that we are so hypnotised by —
the rhythmic banging of drums,
the delicious strumming of guitars,
the quiet squeak of a violin,
the melodic sighs of a piano,
the dramatic cry of a voice,
the lovely tune of horns?
- because music. it's escape, distraction, ringing true in our ears.
