TWO, ZERO, ONE, SIX,
Like a dream, it has come so quick.
Last year's resolutions were never completed,
But this year I promise I won't be defeated!
I swear I will complete that difficult task,
And get all my chores done without mum having to ask.
I will not be too shy; try to make lots of friends,
And for goodness sake I will not waste my weekends.
I will not spend too much time looking at a screen,
And make sure my houseplant stays nice and green.
I will look after my health; get proper rest,
Do all my homework before I get stressed!
Now I hope by the end of the year,
The fact I have achieved these will be very clear.
All of my goals can be fulfilled,
And if I do, indeed I'll be thrilled!
