~Chapter 9~

*3 months later*

Jennifer's POV:

"So Jasmine, how have you been doing?" I said putting the phone on the side of the bed while I painted Cat's nails a neon pink.

"That is not what matters here. What really matters is how you've been doing?"

"What exactly do you want to know?" I asked suspiciously.

"Tell me about you and Alex!"

"There's not really much to say, I mean like-" cat cut me off.

"Now much to say? I can't believe you just said that!" I opened my mouth to say something but she spoke before I did "she and Alex had been going out almost every night, sometimes they come back like at two or three in the morning!"

"No way!"

"it was only twice!" I protested.

"So tell me, what were you doing those two times?"

"Well the first time, we were watching a movie at his place and the second time we were just walking around in downtown"

"yeah right" they said in union

"I'm serious! you could ask him if you want."

"i will" said Cat making me suddenly annoyed by their disbelief.

"so, moving on" I heard Jasmine say. "remember anything?" the mood in the matter of seconds. It's as if it was pink, then somebody pressed a button and turned everything gray.

"no"

"oh"

Cat spoke as if trying to make things better "but she making progress, right Jenny?"

"I guess. I mean I've been going to therapy twice a week but I still cant remember"

"oh sure you will little sister, you just have to have hope"

We finished talking to Jasmine and I went to get ready for therapy. I hate it. I don't know why but I do. My therapist is kind of nice, she the same one that I met when I woke up from the coma. I guess I consider her as a friend, she's nice and we talk easily. There's only one problem: she kind of creepy. When i had therapy for like the third time she asked me a weird question "what scares you the most snakes or spiders?" i had answered with another question "why?" "just trying to get to know you better" "both i guess" it was a weird conversation but i didn't question because she was the therapist.

Alex was driving me today. He was waiting for me outside of his car, I walked up to him and gave him the usual kiss on the cheek. Cat says we're moving too slow because we've never actually kissed, but I'm not really in a rush. I am kind of confused though, in all this time we've never talked about what we are. We're not friends because we're close in a way friends are not. But we're not a couple because we haven't even kissed yet. It's really confusing.

Alex was usually quiet when he drives, but this time he looked at me and smile "guess where I'm taking you tonight"

"ummmm..... movies?"

"Nope, i'll give you a clue It's big and fancy"

"that nice restaurant that I like!"

"yup, me and you have to talk young lady"

"about what"

"no no ,wait until we get to the restaurant."

"Oh" I did the puppy face but he just raised an eyebrow a smirked. I cracked a small smile.

"Call me as soon as you're done I'll around the corner"

"Doing what?"

"Getting a haircut"

"Oh" he kissed me on the forehead and I walked to the building.

When I got to the 5th floor, my therapist's secretary told me that she was waiting for me inside. I took at deep breath and hoped this went by fast. Luckily it did and I was about to leave when she called my name, I turned around.

"today it's saturday so your next appointment it's supposed to be on Tuesday. Would you want to do it at my apartment instead?"

"We'll I don't see the point of it"

"My cat it's very sick and I don't want to leave him alone and since you're the only patient I have for now I thought that maybe..."

"I get it, but wouldn't it be better just to cancel it?"

"No no no. Our therapy it's mandatory."

I hesitated for a moment, I really don't see how my therapy is mandatory since we're nothing achieving much anyways. But I finally gave in and nodded.

She seamed satisfied "Thank you so much, i'll email you all the details" I nodded and walked out. What's up with her?

Alex was waiting outside as usual, but this time his hair was nicely cut. "Well that was fast, it hasn't even been five minutes since I called you"

"I told you I was around the corner" we got in the car and took off.

"Now you go there and dress fancy" he said when we were outside my building.

"Shut up I know what to do"

"Now you do, because I told you" I playfully punched in his right arm and smiled.

"I'll pick you up at eight alright?"

"Okay" he gave me my forehead kiss and I walked to the entrance.

I was searching for my apartment keys in my purse, when I realized I didn't need them. "How was that kiss gurrrrlllll?" Cat was standing in the doorway with a dirty look on her face.

"Shut up it was just a kiss on the forehead. Now would you please move your butt away from the door?"

"You mean my fabulous butt?"

"Whatever"

"Oh right I forgot you've got to get ready for your date" she said moving to the left, I walked inside and turned to her.

"How did you know?"

"Tell me, what Saturday night in the last three months you haven't gone out with Alex?"

"Good point" I said and walked to my room.

Two hours later I was standing in front of the mirror with a beautiful black and red dress with red heels, blood-red lipstick and brown curl falling down my back. "Wow you look beautiful!" Said an all dressed up Cat that was also waiting for her date to arrive.

"So do you"

"Thank" she said with a smile. Then my phone vibrated and Alex's name came on the screen.

"Just in time"

Yeah yeah I know what you're thinking "this stupid lil girl keep saying she sorry but she keep taking foreva to update and blah blah blah blah blah"

But this time I really had a reason: I had lazyaunotozis it's a really complicated situation so I apologize.
