~Chapter 4~

Jenny's POV:

"Wow" I was standing in front of a fancy restaurant. I looked like it came out of Paris. I could see a lot of people through the glass walls. They were all chatting and laughing and eating.

"I knew you would like it. It's your favorite restaurant. And the food is delicious!" I nodded. And we walked inside. There was a line of about five people waiting for their table and a man with a huge mustache on stand telling waiters where to take them. After we did the line and waited for our turn, the man with the Pringles mustache smiled at us.

"Reservations?"

"Yes. Alex Bainbridge"

"It's was table for two right?"

"Yes" he told a short Blond waitress to take us to our table.

"Right this way" she said and started walking us to our table. I took this moment to look around. There were families and couples all over the place. But the place still managed to stay with a peaceful feeling in the air. Maybe it was the soft music coming from the piano. Or the fact that everyone had a calm tone on their voices. Or maybe it was both. I don't know what it was but I liked it.

We finally got to our table and we were right next to the glass wall. We sat down and the waitress gave us each a menu. "Hello I'm Michelle and I'll be your waitress for tonight. I'll give you sometime to decide and then i'll come back but first would you like anything to drink?"

"I'll have some water please" I said even though she looked like she was talking only to Alex.

"I don't want nothing thank you" said Alex without taking his eye away from the menu, which seemed to pissed her off. I hold back my laugh but I couldn't help to smile, is that her face was just too funny!

She walked away looking at Alex one last time before going into what looked like the kitchen. "Is just me or is she looking a lot at you?"

"I don't think it's just you, she's creeping me out"

"I could tell by the fact that you didn't look at her" I said with a grin "did you see her face? It was so funny!" Then we both started laughing. See that what I like about being with Alex, he makes forget that I lost my memory. It's like if that hole inside me wasn't there.

"Don't order that"

"What?"

"The squid. Don't order it" I guess he saw me looking at it.

"Why?"

"You order it once and you hated it. Order the shrimps with garlic"

"What if I wanna eat something else?"

"That's fine but you like the shrimp." Suddenly a wave of sadness and anger hit me. I hate the fact that other people know more about myself than I do. But I don't blame them I know they're just trying to help. I decided to stop thinking about that.

"Did you decide want you want to order or do you need more time?" The waitress said. How did this bitch get here without me noticing? Whatever. She was ignoring me.

Again.

I noticed that she was wearing a lot more make up this time. It's amazing how she thought that more make up would make Alex paying more attention to her.

Alex looked at me and right away I knew he was up to no good. "So my looove what do you want to eat?" I almost cracked up right there! That was so mean but so funny at the same time! Just by the way he said love. HAHAHA!! But I can't laugh. Jenny DO NOT laugh. I decided to follow along.

"I don't know baaaby what would you suggest?" I could almost see steam coming out of her ears.

Now he looked at her "the shrimp with garlic for the beautiful lady and... The same thing for me"

"anything else?"

"yes, two pina coladas with no alcohol" she nodded and left.

" you're so mean!"

" hey what about you? you were playing along!"

"just to not make you look stupid"

"yeah right!"

"wow! you were right this is delicious"

"told ya

I rolled my eye at him. He was just too much. We just ate for a while. No talking. The silence was just too comfortable . Don't get me wrong, i love talking with Alex. He was nice and funny. But sometime we didn't need any words. i was just comfortable being with him, and i think he felt the same way. That was one of the many connections between us. 

After a while it started t get too silent and he spoke "I'm sooo full!" 

I nodded in  agreement "me too"

"But there's always space for dessert!" he said looking like a five year old.

"but-" 

"no buts. They sell the best chocolate mousse this world has ever seen!"

"umm... fine!" he smiled and called the waitress.

"Yes, do you need anything?" this bitch should really calm her freaking attitude! she was pissing me off already!

"yeah, we want the chocolate mousse" he said looking at my eyes instead of her. She nodded, looking at me with evil eyes. Then back at Alex. She was really getting on my nerves.

"She's really getting in my nerves!"

"yup, in mine too." It was really annoying, but i wasn't going to let her ruin my night. Without counting the fact that our waitress in trying to flirt with my date, everything about this date was awesome. The restaurant. The food. And obviously Alex.

Yup, i definitely at least had a crush on him already.

I guess I was day dreaming for a while because when I came back to my senses the mousse was on the table. It was in  a huge plate with whip cream on top and a cherry. 

It looked delicious!

"do you want the honor?" Alex said handing me a spoon.

"Thank you, gentlemen" i said sounding like a British queen or something. I took a bite for the mousse and i felt like my soul walked right out of my body and went into a chocolate wonderland. 

"love it?" i nodded and he smirked. I started eating more and more. "whoa! hold up girl save some for me!" 

"Oh right" I took one last bite and passed it to him. When he took the first bite, it looked like his soul walked out of his body and went to the chocolate wonderland too. 

We finished the mousse and asked for the bill. I insisted that he let me pay at least half but he didn't let me. And we walked out. 

"Oh wait I forgot to give the waitress some tip. I'll be back if you want wait for me in the car" he said and handed me the key. When he went inside I started  walking to the car. It was kind of creepy how everything was so dark and quiet. I saw somebody running and I hit myself hit the floor...
