"You sure you still got his number?"
"Yes, I, Allie Thompson, am very sure I still have Ryan Coles' number. Idiot never changes his number."
"Seriously?"
"Seriously."

And so I called him. After the fifth ring, he picked up. "Hello?"
"Yo, waddup, bro."
"Who is this?!" He asked frantically.
I silently laughed and turned to look at Blake, who was hiding behind a bush and holding up a thumbs up with a questioning look on his face. I nodded and pulled up a thumbs up to him. I turned around and our convo went like this:
Me: Hey, sorry, its Allie.
Him: Allie? How'd you know my number?
Me: You never changed it ever since we were freshmen, you dildo.
Him: Oh.
Me: Anyway, sorry about my act yesterday! Can we at least meet at a restaurant?
Him: Oh I know a good place. When?
Me: Now. Maybe in thirty minutes, I have things to do first.
Him: Okay.

I hung up and turned to look at Blake. He was glaring at me. "What?" I asked. "Meet up? Seriously?" He said, rising up from the bush and brushing off the dirt. "Well, it was unplanned." "Unplanned?! We never agreed having a date with your ex." I rolled my eyes. There he goes again with his overprotectiveness. Can somebody explain why he's too overprotective?? I thought.

A few moments later, I already called Ryan and told him to meet me up at Girly's Buffet and Bar. (AN: its not real.) I already have my secret mic on my favorite necklace my mom got when she was 18, and it was a locket, so we hid the mic in it to record everything Ryan & I will say. Blake decided to tag along too, so I gave him an earplug where he can hear what we're saying. He sat two tables behind us, hiding behind the menu.

Ryan was typically late. He came to the restaurant 10 minutes later, rushing in. "Sorry, Mom had an anxiety attack." That was understandable. "Sure, its fine. How's she?" I asked. "Oh she's fine, my sister is taking care of her." I nodded. "Excuse me, are you going to order now?" The waiter asked. "Uh, I want a roast chicken with mashed potato for the side dish?" I said. The waiter nodded and wrote down on his notepad. "And you sire?" The waiter turned to look at Ryan. "I'll have the same." The waiter nodded and left.

"Why'd you come back here, though?" I asked Ryan as he sipped his water. "Uh, I missed you..?" He said, wait, more like ask. "Oh.." I said. I really don't know what to say.
