Allie

Its been days since the prom. Its been days Blake and I are in a pretty steady relationship. I went back to being popular, but I stayed being the nerdy one they teased about. "Allie!" I hear my friend, Kathryn, call me. I managed to find friends after the prom, they saw me with Blake, no glasses and braces. I turned around and saw my friends. I walked to them and sat down. "Allie! How's it going with you and Blake?" Daphne smiled, eating a french fry. "It's nice, smooth but slow." I said. "No fights?" Gaile asked me. "Not a single one," I answered, twisting my fork on my spaghetti. "No relationship problems?" Gaile asked again. "Nope," I answered again, popping the "p". "Wow. I'm jealous!" Leigh said, while drinking soda. We laughed, and she laughed. Her mistake. Soda flew out from her nose, making us laugh even hard. "OMG, Leigh! Hahahahahaha!" Ashleigh, her sister, laughed hard, clutching her stomach. Eventually we stopped laughing. I wiped my eyes, because of the fun laughter we had. Awkward silence surrounded us.

"Allie, love." I heard the familiar voice. I turned around and saw a mop of black (or is it blond? Can't remember..) hair. Blake. "Hi, Blake." I said, standing up and hugging him. "Ooh, the lovebirds, get a room!" Gaile said, "I just hugged him, is there a problem? Haha," I said, shooing back Blake to his table. "Yeah." Gaile answered. "Allie, I can't remember your next class. What is it?" Maxene asked. "My next class is Music." I answered.

"Allie, will you wait for me at the field? I have extra practice to do today. After school." Blake said, his arms snaking around my waist and pulling me closer. "Sure thing." I said.
