The room was quiet for awhile. Nobody had something to say and didn't want to destroy the peaceful atmosphere that was hanging in the room.

Me and Vic held Brooklyn's hand and David had his hand on Brooks arm. His brothers and sister may not come to see him, which is sad cause maybe they won't be able to be here when he wakes up of never had the chance to say goodbye.

It was 4:25 pm, time for Dave and Vic to head home.

"We're leaving guys. Kaithlyn I'll be here tomorrow around 10 am and David will be here in the evening. Of there is any news you can always call! See you later everyone." I nodded and they waved at us and left.

"Do you believe it?" Shay suddenly asked.

"Believe what?"

"That he's gonna wake up some time?"

"Fcourse I do! Why wouldn't I? Don't you?"

"I don't know, I don't think so to be honest with you."

"Why not?"

"Kaith look at him... He's lifeless and they say that he'll wake up soon?! How?! He is practically death! The only thing keeping him alive is that machine okay! Stop daydreaming! Wake up!"

"SHAY HOW CAN YOU SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT?! LEAVE I DONT WANT TO SEE YOU IN THIS ROOM ANYMORE!" I was yelling by now. How dare she say something like that.

"Kaith it's the truth..." She said this time more calm.

"Who are you to say that?! What do you know about it?! Don't you want him to wake up?! Are you jealous maybe?! That he isn't your boyfriend? The father to your children?!"

"What no!!" She said.

"It's time to go Shay you've said enough for today." Bailey said.

Shay just gave the both of us nasty looks and turned around, leaving the room.

"Sorry girl." Bailey said looking down of embarrassment.

What the heck did just happen?!

"It's not you fault Bail." I said giving her a hug.

"I know but- I just don't know what got to her. Why did she even say that?"

"I don't know it either.. Let's just forget about this because I have already enough shit to deal with right now."

"I understand. If you need me, I'm here for you okay."

"I know thanks babe."

"No prob, now I see ya later then?"

"Sure, take care."

"Same for you." She smiled and left the room too.

Shay's words kept repeating in my head. Maybe she was right. Maybe he'll never wake up and we're all waiting for nothing, hoping for a miracle to happen. Maybe he is death.

I don't know what to belief anymore. I walked to the window and it was raining outside. I opened the window a little so the smell of the rain would come in. I loved the smell of it and so did Brook.

I remember that night when we were having a sleepover and we both couldn't sleep. It was raining cats and dogs outside and we just sat in front of the slightly opened window. We didn't talk just enjoying the moment. We didn't need anything else, just the two of us.

I walked back to his bed and sat back down. I was bored as hell and thinking wasn't something I wanted to do right now.

I also was getting cold but I didn't bother closing the window or getting a blanket. I looked at Brook, I missed it when he would cuddle up with me whenever I got cold. Or he'd give me his jacket, or make me a hot chocolate or tea. I smiled again at the memories. Such little time, so much beautiful memories.
