If You're Jealous And You Know It

While Amber, Hildegard, and Clio were dancing, they noticed Sofia and Hugo doing something. Sofia was holding onto a green acoustic guitar, and Hugo was helping her keep it steady.

"What are Sofia and Hugo doing?" asked Hildegard.

"It looks like he's showing her how to play a guitar," said Clio.

"Let's go and see," said Amber. The trio went to go and see Sofia and Hugo.

Sofia was carefully strumming the strings on the guitar, and Hugo was playing his own guitar.

"What are you guys doing?" asked Amber.

"Hugo is showing me how to play guitar," said Sofia.

"Oh, how nice," said Hildegard.

"Thanks," said Sofia.

"I'm teaching Sofia a few songs my brother taught me," said Hugo.

"We might even perform our songs tonight," said Sofia.

Amber, Hildegard, and Clio started to feel a little jealous of how well Hugo is getting along with Sofia. They've each had a crush on him before he made Sofia fall off her horse at her first tryout race. Now that he's getting along with her, the three princesses each regained a crush on him. But now Hugo seemed more interested in Sofia than them.

"Are you going to be teaching Sofia your songs right now?" Hildegard asked.

"Well, we can't be running around much right now, or we'll be too tired to ride in the flying derby race," said Hugo.

"This would be a great way to pass the time until then," added Sofia.

"I suppose," said Clio.

"Well, we're going to do more square-dancing," said Amber.

"Alright," said Sofia.

The three girls walked away to do more square-dancing, but they were distracted by how much fun Hugo and Sofia were having. They tried to enjoy themselves, but then they saw Hugo helping Sofia keep her guitar steady while standing up.

Amber, Hildegard, and Clio were having a hard time having fun. As they were walking away, they crossed paths with Sofia and Amber's brother, James, and his best friend, Prince Zandar of Tangu.

"James, have you noticed that Prince Hugo has been spending all his time with Sofia?" Amber asked.

"He has been spending a lot of time with her," agreed James.

"I can see they're playing guitar," said Zandar.

"Yes, he's teaching her how to play it," said Hildegard.

"And since they need to save their energy for the flying derby race, they've decided to practice playing guitar for an unscheduled performance tonight," said Clio.

"Oh, that sounds like fun," said Zandar.

"Yeah, and it makes me happy to see Hugo get along with Sofia," said James. "They've been bonding with each other a lot lately, especially during flying derby practice."

Hearing James's words, Amber, Hildegard, and Clio started to feel more jealous of Sofia and Hugo's friendship.

"Yes, it's wonderful how they're getting along so well," said Amber sarcastically. James and Zandar started to sense jealousy in the three princesses.

"Well, I hope Sofia and Hugo's fun doesn't get in your way," James chuckled.

Amber, Hildegard, and Clio didn't think that was funny. As soon as James and Zandar were gone, Hildegard said, "Maybe inviting Hugo to join us wasn't such a good idea after all."

"Yeah, he's spending too much time with Sofia," added Amber.
