After the guitars were fixed, Sofia and Hugo resumed their performance, and everybody liked the show—even Amber, Hildegard, and Clio.
"They're such good guitarists," Amber whispered.
"They sure are," agreed Hildegard.
Pretty soon, the show was finished, and Sofia's & Hugo's families went over to congratulate them.
"That was great, baby bro," Axel said, hugging his little brother. "But how did your guitar strings break like that?"
Sofia and Hugo were a little ashamed to admit that it was Amber, Hildegard, and Clio's fault that the show went wrong.
"Let's just say that things didn't go the way we planned today," Sofia said.
"But they always turn out fine in the end, especially when you have a friend by your side," Hugo said happily.
Sofia and Hugo hugged happily, and Amber, Hildegard, and Clio were happy to see them both really happy. They wished they hadn't wasted time being jealous of Hugo's friendship with Sofia, but they're happy that Sofia and Hugo were very best ever-after friends.
