Christmas Proposal (Tony Stark)

Tony fixed his tie nervously for the millionth time. He stared at his reflection as he took deep breaths. 'Just like you rehearsed, Tony. Don't screw this up.' His hand slipped into his pocket to fidget with the velvet box; never has Tony Stark been so nervous.

"Tony!" He hears his girlfriend, and hopefully soon to be wife, (Name) call out. "Are you almost ready? My parents Christmas party is starting soon!"

"I-I'm coming!" He stumbled on his words. He gave himself one last look in the mirror before leaving the bedroom. When he came into view of his girlfriend, his jaw dropped and his chocolate brown eyes widened. "(Name), you look absolutely stunning."

"Aw thank you, Tony. You look quiet handsome yourself." She smiled. "Are you ready to go?"

"Wait, I need to do something." The (hair color) girl tilted her head slightly but nodded. "(Name), we've known each other for four years and been in a relationship for two. You're one of the few people I trust wholeheartedly and you are someone I can lean on when I have my problems and I hope I am the same to you so," Tony Stark dropped to one knee and pulled out the ring box. "Would you do me the honors of becoming my wife?"

"Oh Tony!" She gasped. One of her hands covered her mouth while her (eye color) eyes glistened with tears. "Yes! A million times yes!" Tony stood up and was tackled into an embrace. "I love you so much."

"You've made me the happiest man, Mrs. Stark." They both let out joyful laughs before their lips connected in a quick kiss.

"Oh I can't wait to share the news with my family! They will be so happy."

"I wonder what the Avengers will say?" They soon-to-be husband and wife chuckled. "Merry Christmas, babe."

"Merry Christmas, love. It's the best one yet." Tony and (Name) kissed once more before leaving. Their grins never left their faces.
