After that horrible nightmare, I didn't get much sleep. I just spent the rest of the night tossing and turning with questions swirling my mind. It didn't take long for the sun to come up, especially when you're not able to rest. Brent hasn't come back in the room since last night. I guess I'm the only one spooked. But I am not sitting around freaked out today. I have questions in need of answering.

I got up off the bed and went to my bag. Grabbing a pair of spandex shorts, a black tank top, and new underwear. I walked over to a door I discovered was a bathroom a couple hours ago. I turned the light on and walked in leaving the door cracked open so it wouldn't get too hot. I walked over to the sliding glass door of the shower and opened it. Turning the water onto hot and started strip. Climbing into the hot water was like walking into heaven gates. Every bone in my body instantly relaxed.

Without knowing it I started singing while washing myself. Scrubbing my hair, my body, and my soul. After I was finished I turned the water off and climbed out. Grabbing my clothes I walked out of the room and got dressed quickly. I went to my bag and grabbed my brush when I noticed the bedroom door was open. I turned to see a very red faced Brent standing by the windows. I cleared my throat and put my head down.

"How.. how long have you been standing there?" I said a little to shyly. He looked dazed.

"I came in to see if you were awake and you were in the shower so I was gonna open the shades to get light in here," he said quietly. "I promise I didn't see anything. I swear." But we both know he was lying. "Okay, maybe I did. Uhm. I think I should go make breakfast." Brent said trying to collect himself and started walking to the door. He stopped right in front of me. "Sorry." He said sheepishly.

"I should be the one apologizing. I should have gotten dressed in the bathroom." I smiled at him and moved out of his way. He shook his head and walked out a little confused. I brushed my hair and put it in a sloppy ponytail. I started pacing the room until I finally decided to go into the kitchen. Sitting down at the island to the side I stayed quiet. He was in the middle of cooking. He looked so concentrated so I just sat and watched in amazement. By the smell of this food, Brent is a good cook. Brent finished what he was doing and turned around only to jump like a jackrabbit.

"I didn't hear you come in. Are you hungry?" He said taking his headphones out. I smiled mischievously.

"Very," I said trying to keep a straight face. I'm guessing I failed because he smirked at me. Great.

"Well good thing I have a giant breakfast." He smirked at me knowingly.

"I see what you did there, now give me food!" I said laughing at his reaction. He laughed at me and grabbed some plates and mugs. He walked over to the island and set them down. Walked over to a drawer and grabbed forks and knives. After he set those down he got the food and we started eating silently. But I am going insane so no more of this.

"Okay, no more of this. I have questions." I said boldly. He didn't even look up. Just nodded his head up and down. Still eating not breaking eye contact with his phone. Scrolling through god knows what. "Brent," I said louder. Still, he didn't look up. What the hell is he looking at? I waved my hand in front off his face. "Hello...." Nothing. Okay, that's it. I grabbed his phone and ran through the house with him yelling behind me.

I ran into the room and locked the door as fast as I could. Running run to the bed I hid the phone under the mattress and fixed the bed making it look normal. Brent finally got the door open with his key. That took him 2 minutes to get from his room. When he opened the door I had my arms crossed and one eyebrow raised.
