~Sergio's POV~Pain shot through my side. And next thing I know I'm in a choke hold on the floor. My air supply was shut off. Louisiana was on top of me screaming at her father to let me go. Black dots were starting to cloud of vision. Then it stopped. I inhaled sharply and rolled over. Laying my head on my arms. Lousiana started rubbing my back.
"It's okay. He won't hurt you again. I will make sure of that. I'm so sorry Sergio." My breathing slowing down from her calming gesture. "I'm so sorry Sergio." She helped me to my feet and helped me walk to the bathroom. Settling me on the top of the toilet she turned around and walked out living the door cracked open so I listened.
"Get out." I heard her say. Someone started walking but it was getting closer not farther. I could the skin in my neck starting to swell.
"Louisiana I-" Her father was cut off by a loud slap. I wasn't for sure who slapped who but I guessed it was him as I heard a large body hit the floor and everyone gasp.
"GET OUT NOW!" Lousiana yelled with a strong angry voice. I heard several people run downstairs. How many people were in there? Then I heard another smack sound. I winced as I turned my head to fast. "Get out before I return the favor." I slowly put my head in my hand as I heard more people leave and a door close. The pain in my neck was getting worse it was starting to rush to my head. I heard the bathroom door open more as she walked in slowly.
"Hey, are you okay?" She asked as she put a hand on my shoulder. I could feel her crouch close to me. "Sergio look up I need to see if you're alright." She said moving my hands away from my face. Sitting on her knees she moved my head to get a better look. "Sergio I'm so so sorry." I looked anywhere but her as a tear ran down my face. I closed my eyes at the feel of her wiping away. "Does it hurt?" She asked my eyes opening in pain as she gently slid her small fingers across the forming bruises. I only nodded slowly.
I got up and followed her to the bathroom cabinet. She slightly jumps when she saw me so close to her.
"Lean against the counter." She said moving out of the way. I watched her closely and did as told. She's quite bossy when she wants to be. "I'm gonna put a cream on your neck for the bruises okay. And a couple pills for the pain." I nodded my head and tilted it some so she could have better access. I was looking at her face when I saw the red handprint of her face. Who the hell hit her?! She put the cream on her warm fingers and gently and slowly massaged my neck. Her touch made my blood rush everywhere my head, my hands, my face, and places that she will never know. I closed my eyes both to hide the reaction from her and to try and calm down.
I felt a hand on my thigh as I looked at her. So much for trying to cool down. We stared one another until she removed her hand and apologized. Clearing her throat she handed me a pill bottle.
"Here," she said and turned away. "I'll be right back with some water." Walking out fast. She returned soon and handed me the water. "It's almost time for bed again do you want something to eat?" she said watching me take the pills slowly. I shook my head no and tried to get my shirt off but it wasn't working very well. Louisiana walked over to me and pulled the shirt off my head and stared me straight in the eyes. She walked back out and came back with close setting them down only to leave again. Changing into cleaner and softer clothes I walked out and seen Louisiana asleep in the window seat.
Walking over to her I slowly picked her up. Pain shooting through my body. I walked her to the bed laying her down gently. Pulling the covers up to her shoulders. Trying to make sure she was comfortable. Looking at her I moved the stray hair that fell over her face. She saved my life from her father then helped take care of me. She didn't have to but yet she did. I could have kicked his ass but I didn't want to hurt the man for having parental instincts. He was doing his job as a father. He just acted first and didn't ask questions at all.
