Quick little A/N: if you see stuff written in parentheses ( ) and italicized (this) then that means that the future Blaire (the one that was talking at the beginning of the story aka: the pregnant one) is speaking.
"Hi Lainey! I'm Blaire, Luca's best friend," I awkwardly say.
"Hi! So you're the famous Blaire," Lainey squeals," I've heard so much about you! Luca always talks about you! It's almost like he wants you to be his girlfriend instead of me," she says cheerfully. (If only I knew then what I know now)
"That's funny! No I'm getting married next month so that won't happen. Trust me," I say laughing.
"Ok that's good to know," she says more serious now.
"Ok well, it was nice meeting you Lainey, but I have to go. Luca? Are we still on for dinner next week?"
"Ya of course. Wouldn't miss it for the world." At that I see Lainey scowl, but Lainey is so sweet. It had to have been part of my imagination. (Ya! Let's keep thinking that)

"Blaire, I know that you're getting married in a couple weeks, but I want you to know that, I love you! I've always loved you. Blaire, you're my best friend and I don't know why I waited so long to tell you," he just throws all of this on me? Now? Of all times?
"I love you too, Luca. But, I need to do this for my mom. You know that she's sick? She has cancer. We need this money. We really need it," I can't believe that he loves me like I loved him.
"Then let's do this in secret. Let me show you how much I love you! Let's be friends with benefits. Let's do this! Let's do this with you married and me dating Lainey," he proposes.
Is this a good idea? Should I do this? I'm bound to get even more emotionally attached to him. This isn't a good idea my subconscious is telling me. Do it! It'll be worth it in the end! He loves you! You love him my heart is telling me. Who do I listen to? My head or my heart?
"This is a bad idea, Luca," I start. He gets a sad, distant look in his eye. "But I don't care. I love you, you love me! What could possibly go wrong?" (Poor, poor me! If only you knew. If only you knew!)

It's been a month since Luca and I have been in our odd relationship. So far, no one suspects a thing. Hopefully it will stay like that.
Today is my "wedding" and Luca is walking me down the aisle. I don't really have friends due to my busy schedule, so Lainey is my maid of honor. She really has become my really good friend.

The "wedding" was nice. But I don't really love Drew. He's nice. He really is, but... I don't know. Just, he's not my type. And, he's kind of old.
Now, it's off to my honeymoon where Drew and I will get to know each other more and try for a baby. That is all I'm married to him for? Is it not? So I can't really complain. This is going to be a long 2 months.
