"Babies are precious little things? Are they not? They're incredibly adorable as well. And the one you adopted just looks like he fits right in! Too bad you dragged him into this mess. Call off the police or you'll regret it!"
"Luca! Get in here and bring the babies," I scream throughout the household.
"What? What is it?"
"Here," I hand him the note that I received from the mail.
"We need to leave," Luca exclaims after reading the note.
"What do you mean we need to leave?"
"We need to leave! We need to move away from here! Our babies are in danger, Blaire! We need to leave and we need to only tell very few people."
"Why? Why can't we tell everyone who knows about the babies?"
"Because this person knows about Ryker! The only people who know about him are the people who were there for the birth. Someone who we know is doing this to us."
"Who do we tell then?"
"We tell your mom and we tell your sisters. That's it. No one else."
"Fine."
"I'm sorry Blaire. I am. I'm sorry this is happening to us. I'm sorry this is happening to you and the babies."
"It's not your fault. You know it's not."
"But I'm supposed to protect my family."
"This is how we're protecting our family. By running."
"I think I know who is doing this. I think it was Drew," Luca looks down, ashamed for even thinking that.
"Thank goodness you think that. I think the same thing," Blaire sighs a sigh of relief.
"We need to see Babineaux. Call him and tell him to come here," Luca orders while taking Luna out of my arms and checking her diaper.
Less than thirty minutes later Babineaux shows up and walks in using the key as gave him.
"What's wrong," he asks.
"We need you to look into Drew. We think he's doing this."
Hey guys. This book is coming to an end that's why these past couple chapters are so short. Plus I've been pretty busy with my job and school work and I'm just not feeling this book anymore. I'll of course do an epilogue don't you worry about that.
