The beastly prince and I (APLS #1)

Prologue

"Mommy Mommy!" I run towards my mother, she is still washing our dishes that we used in our dinner.

"Yes dear?" My mother smiled genuinely and i too, smiled as i saw her.

"Mommy, can you tell me a bed time story?" I pouted. I really want a bed time story before i go to sleep so i may have a wonderful night.

"Okay dear but first, i need to finish this. You can go to daddy, ask him if he can tell you a bed time story." My mother replied and smiled again. Oh how i love the way mommy smiled at me like that. A smile that can give you energy and enlightment. A genuine smile.

"Alright mommy" I went to the living room as i saw daddy sitting in the couch watching T.V.

"Daddy!" I sit in his lap and he laughed.

"What's wrong princess?" My daddy asked me.

"I want you to tell me a bed time story!" I pouted. I'm sure daddy will tell me one. I'm sure of it.

"Is that so?" He raised his eyebrow and after a few seconds he smiled at me.

"Okay i will tell you one so you better listen okay?" Daddy smiled.

"Really?! You'll tell me one?" I asked in excitement. I'm jumping at my father's lap as waited for his answer.

"Yes princess, i will tell you a bed time story." Daddy answered and i am surprised. I'm so happy my father agreed. But, something in my mind came up.

"Daddy?" He turn off the T.V and now his attention is at me.

"Yes?" My daddy response and i saw him smiling widely.

"Can you tell me how you and mommy started?" I asked him. He looked shocked at my question. "How you two become together." I ask that in confusion cause i want to know so badly how their love story begin.

"Honey, what are you guys doing?" My mother came in and she smiled.

"Your daugther here, wants to know our love story. How we begin" my father responsed and mother just laughed. She sat in couch with us.

"Well.... We had a long story before we have you." Mommy said and daddy looked at her and chuckle.

"Yeah, your mother is the most beautiful girl that i've ever known." Daddy said and kiss her at the cheek. Mommy just blushed.

"And you're daddy is the most stupid and foolish guy i've ever known." Mommy smiled and daddy gave a what the heck look.

"Hey!" My daddy playfully said. Aww they are so cute! She just smiled and then looked at me.

"But i love him so much" I can see in her eyes she is sincere and really do love daddy that much. "Even he's a jerk. He always there for me. Always there to take care of me. Yes, he hurted me but that's not gonna changed how i love him. I still do love him after all the pain we've been through because he never give up on us. He still holding on even though i let go. He never leave even though i told him to stay away. He made me special. He made me feel valuable. He taught me how to love. He taught me what love is. Love is him. Love cannot be describe by words but can be describe by feelings, by how the way he treated at you. That's what daddy showed me. Fantasies do exist."

"And I love you mother as much as the heaven knows how much." I gotta say, they are really a wonderful couple. And they look like they just started being together. Young love.

"So fairies do exist?" I asked her. So fantasies exist that means, there are fairies, kingdom, paradise!

"I gave you a wronged idea honey." My mother smiled. Huh?

"What i meant fantasies is that how you feel when you're in love. You're just living in a fairy tale story. You are the princess and he is the prince." She said to me clearly so that i can understand it so it's figuratively not literally. Ohhhh! Mommy is very good at this.

"That's just like our story, me and your mother. I was the prince and she was the princess but now, I'm the king, she's the queen and your our little princess." My father said happily and kiss me in the cheek. Mommy continued "And you'll find your prince charming just like i found mine." She careless my hair.

"When?" I asked her.

"Someday." She smiled and kiss my forehead so as daddy. Then i let darkness conquered.
