Crepuscule was coming on when Eli, Enoch, and Nathan emerged from the tunnels below, and silently slipped into their truck and started driving home. Only then did they talk. Enoch told them of what he'd experienced, and Eli told as much as he could remember of how they had caught him. Enoch lifted up the solid gold brick and slightly bounced it on his palm, before setting it back into its sack. He then continued to talk with his father and brother.

"Two hundred thousand dollars!" exclaimed the gold broker. Nathan stared with a new light on the brick of gold. Eli and Enoch looked at each other and then turned to the man again. "Would you like to sell it to me for the price I named?" the man asked hopefully.

"No thank you Mr. Classeral. I think we'll keep it."

"Alright, as you wish."

"Goodbye." They walked out of the gold shop and hopped into their Toyota. Eli started up the truck, and they made their way back toward home.

It took them three hours to get to their home town, and they finally drove up their driveway. Enoch felt a strange felling of, well, something wash over him; the feeling of happiness. And yet, he felt regret at coming back home and leaving adventure behind. He longed for more, and yet he was happy to be in his quiet home. They all hopped out of the truck and into their loving home.
