"Well," Eli sighed. "Looks like we're here."
"Where is Herald Trimon's house?" Nathan asked.
"Just wait; there must be an information building around here."
Eli drove around town, but couldn't find any information building.
"Kids, tell me if you see it ok?"
"Alright Dad." they said, and pried their eyes to see the building.
Just then, a big van ran a red light, almost smashing into them. Nathan and Enoch swiveled in their seats. In black letters across the side of the well-kept van were the letters "The A.A.P."
Nathan gasped. Enoch set his jaw. Eli dropped his mouth open before slamming it shut and exclaiming;
"The A.A.P! They might beat us to it!"
******
Nathan gulped, and he did well to gulp. They were going fifty miles an hour around unsafe curves after the van. Enoch just held on to the handle above his door with wide eyes, looking like he was about to throw up; he had never done well on very curvy roads, especially not at fifty miles an hour. Eli set his gaze forward with his knuckles turning white as he grasped the wheel. The van was obviously lost as well. It went in circles around the city, much like what Eli had done. They again came to a stop light, and Eli made a command decision not to run the light like the van did. By the time the light was green, the van was out of sight. Eli pulled over and rolled down the window.
"I can't believe I didn't think of this before." he mumbled, and looked out to see if anyone was walking on the sidewalk. Just then, a young man walked out of the subway next to them.
"Oh, uh, hello! We need help!" The man looked up and stopped. "Could you tell us where the Chamber of commerce is for this city?"
"Sure, go up Main Street; take a right on James Street, and then a left on Kentucky Road."
"Thank you!" Eli said, as he rolled up the window and started to turn back out in the street. It was right where the man said it was, and Eli hastily parked and jumped out, followed by his boys.
"Hello." said the lady at the desk, "Can I help you?"
"Uhh, yes. We need to know where the house of Herald Trimon, from the Revolutionary era, is located."
"Oh, yes, his house was demolished around 1904 and is now a lovely park just outside town. His house was located on the east end of it where a huge flat bolder is."
"Thank you very much." said Eli, turning to leave.
"Uh, sir, just out of curiosity, are you by any chance connected with the A.A.P?" Eli stopped in his tracks.
"No, why?"
"Because no more than three minutes ago, a person from the A.A.P. asked me the same question."
