Chapter 12

I arrive at the set, my mom driving my sister Sarah and I. We're a little late, so I leap out of the car, blowing a kiss to my mom. I run to the door, Sarah close at my heels. We wave to all the crew members we know as we race to the room where we'll do our table read.

When I walk through the door, all the heads in the room turn in our direction. No one is smiling. Rowan has tears streaming down her face. Corey just seems depressed.

"What's going on?" I ask, concerned.

Wordlessly, Rowan points to the laptop sitting on the table. A little angrily too, if you ask me.

I pull up a chair and glance at the screen. There's an article that reads: Sabrina back together with ex Bradley? Threatens Peyton Meyer for "cheating on her"? And just who is Olivia? Get the full scoop here.

I look up, shocked. Everything is untrue, but it seems pretty clear that they're believing it.

I turn back to the article, determined to find out what lies the world is hearing.

Is Sabrina Carpenter (Girl Meets World) back together with her ex-boyfriend Bradley? Who is the mysterious, two-timing Olivia? Sabrina Carpenter and Peyton Meyer dated?

As many of you know, the "Girl Meets World" star, Peyton Meyer, was recently hospitalized for a broken jaw, allegedly from a fight with co-star Sabrina's ex-boyfriend, Bradley. An exclusive source got us an insiders view of what went down in the hospital room last night.

"It was frightening," the source claims. "Sabrina was yelling, Bradley asked her to get back together [with him], and as they left together Sabrina whispered threats to Peyton, saying he'd better not tell anyone."

Now who is Olivia? Apparently, the girl who Brad made out with while dating Sabrina "was also a former affair [of Peyton] and the reason Peybrina broke up."

We didn't even know they got together in the first place! You heard it first, Peyton and Sabrina did date- but broke up, also due to the still unidentified Olivia. Could this be Olivia Holt or Olivia Stuck, maybe? We may never know.

I can't even believe it. But everyone else can.

I feel Rowan's hand on my shoulder.

"What's going on, Brini?" She asks with a voice choked with tears. "I thought you hated Bradley. And loved Peyton, but didn't date him."

"That's all true, Row!" I exclaim. "I do like Peyton-" I notice a few smirk-like glances at this- "And I am mad at Bradley. I was yelling at him for everything, not Peyton! And I whispered to Peyton to get better. I wasn't threatening him!"

Rowan wipes her teary eyes an smiles at me. "I didn't doubt you for a minute, Sabby," she says. I know this isn't 100% true, but it doesn't matter. "Are you mad at the people who wrote this?" She asks.

I think for a moment. "No," I say. "I guess it could have sounded that way to someone watching. I wish they hadn't, but honestly, all that bothers me now is Bradley. Could he be any ruder?"

Corey comes over to us and pats Rowan on the back. I notice her stiffen at the touch, but she lets it go pretty fast. I communicate with her through "eye language", as Ben calls it. Her eyes tell me that she likes the fact he's standing with her.

Michael runs over to the group of us. Apparently he doesn't notice that everyone's eyes are red, or that I look so distressed. "Peyton's back!" He shouts like a little kid.

We run over to door to greet him. Halfway there, I stop myself. I jog back to the tables and reach inside my purse. There lies an envelope that I've been meaning to give him for the longest time. Today, the time seems right.

I race back to meet the others.

So, yeah. That took me (as you all know) a very long time to write. I haven't updated this book in forever, partly due to trying to finish Twelve Days, but mostly because I just didn't have a clue what to write. 

But I'm getting more ideas now! I can't promise when the next chapter will be up, but I can say that you definitely won't have to wait as long as you did for this one.
