"Girl Meets World cast seen fighting with Bradley Steven Perry; enough to take them off the air?" the headline screams at us.
Everyone is silent as we crowd around the table, peering over the article. Michael Jacobs is the first to speak.
"I don't know what happened here," he begins slowly, clasping his hands as he paces the room. "But I know you all, and I know that if you were involved in a fight, there must have been a good reason."
He looks to me. "Sabrina, let's start with you. What went on yesterday?"
I clear my throat and take a deep breath.
"Well," I say. "Bradley has always been a bit headstrong, but since we broke up it's seemed like he will do anything to hurt me and the people I care about. He claims it's to get me back, but even if that is the case, it's wrong." I look around at the people I've grown up with over these past couple of years. I remember walking into the studio day 1, never imagining that the kids I met would become like my family. But they have.
"No one could take you from me, even Bradley. As hard as he pulls, I'm hanging on to you guys."
Rowan gives me a little side-hug and smile.
Peyton speaks up. "Sabrina," he says, taking my hand between his. "She's incredible. Bradley knew that and lost her. I was the one lucky enough to find this girl. I lo-"
His confession is interrupted with the sound of knocking at the door.
A Disney manager strolls in, setting her papers down on the table and pushing up her glasses on her nose.
"Mr. Jacobs. Cast," she gestures to us disgustedly.
"What is being reported from yesterday is downright despicable. We do not want this kind of negative publicity for our network, especially since the fighting shown is with a fellow Disney channel employee. I cannot excuse this type of behavior. It could be detrimental to our whole franchise, our other shows, our viewership. It is because of this that I have no choice but to cancel Girl Meets World."
As if in slow motion I scan the room, watching the disheartened faces of my cast mates.
"I will not let you take away such an important part of the lives of these kids and kids everywhere," Michael Jacobs demands, color rushing to his cheeks. "You have no idea what you'd be giving up. Every-"
"Jacobs, come speak with me outside." the executive replies primly. She turns abruptly and walks out, the heels on her all-too-pointy red shoes clicking on the linoleum floor.
The cast is too shocked to say anything. Finally, Rowan musters up a voice.
"How on Earth could a story get so twisted?" she cries, frustrated. "I was just telling Bradley off for being such a possessive little bitch-" she covers her mouth, eyes wide. "Did I just say that aloud?"
"Go on Row; it's fine," I assure her.
"Well anyways, he was just looking for you and calling you 'his' and everything. And you are DEFINITELY NOT HIS because you're a strong independent woman and also sorta dating Peyton."
And so I roasted him," Rowan finishes, looking very proud of herself.
"Wait, that's what we're getting taken off the air for?" I gasp. "Celebrities have feuds all the time. People don't always get along- that's life."
"How would something that minuscule be taken this far?" Peyton wonders aloud.
I roll my eyes. "Bradley. He'll manipulate the reporters as much as he can. It's so stupid that people would believe him though."
Just then, my phone buzzes with texts.
Mom: CONGRATS
Mom: ON THE EMI NOMINATION
Mom: *EMMY
Mom: SO PROUD HONEY
I look up to the rest of the cast. "We're nominated for an Emmy."
Corey slumps back into his chair. "It's like rai-i-ainnnn..."

A/N: Just had to throw that last bit in as an homage to Michael Jacob's totally not salty tweets at Disney Channel after GMW's cancellation ;)
Okay so... it's been over a year since I last updated. I just had no motivation, was super busy and honestly forgot about my account from time to time. Just getting back on here I remember how good for me it was to write and to have so many positive people in my life like I do on this site.
I don't know what the direction of this book is but I'm trying to come up with ideas to either keep it going or wrap it up soon. Let me know your opinions please!!
If you've stuck around this long for another chapter- thank you so much. You mean the world xo
<3, Emi (hahahah see what I did now with mama carpenter's texts? yeah? no? okay i'm done I promise ;))
