Newt's POV
I should have known that a gathering was a bad idea I thought as I full scale shouting match began. I caught snippets of the arguments around me, each a small part of the overall conflict.
"It is her fault"
"She had nothing to do with it"
"He made his own choices"
"She didn't ask him to break the rules"
"He went in there to look for her"
"He wasn't even a runner"
"She said she would be there and she wasn't".
One thing that was obvious despite the chaos was we were splitting down the middle those who blamed her and those who didn't. She is alive George is not. Our family is now two, we are taking sides.
